Super professional HVAC tech (electrician specializing in HVAC) helped me diagnose, repair/replace Fujitsu heat pump parts under warranty and took the extra time to perform correct fundamental procedures and not shortcuts - I contacted Fujitsu General Assist for repair and am very impressed (Fujitsu heat pump was installed by another company).

My ducted heatpump was December 2015 during their promotion. We started using it during the end of May 2016. It was all working great until 23th of August when the system stopped working as it should. I thought it was too cold and I set the thermostat low. The following day I found out that the outdoor unit was not working. Rang Fujitsu and asked me to call the installer. The next day the technician came over to check what was wrong. It was said to be the PCB board that provides power to the outdoor unit was busted. The first response was great as they came over the next day. The replacement unit was installed on the 5th of September which was quite a while. Only to find out that the system is still not working. Tech said something else must have broke during the process. Rang Fujitsu to complain that the turn around time was not acceptable and only to find out it was not working. Fujistu does not have any accountability and passed them on to their so called network of certified technicians. Tech is recommending to replace the whole outdoor unit but still have to wait from Fujitsu. After more than 2 weeks and counting still no action and clarity when my heatpump will be restored. Fujitsu product is NOT RELIABLE and their customer support is MUCH WORSE. NOT RECOMMENDING FUJITSU. Save your selves from all the hassle.

Never ever go with this brand, terrible after sales support and rubbish aircon. We had ducted aircon installed for whole house in March 2019 by AES paid thousands of $$. Since last September having problem with fglair and wifi controller it's totally not working after I updated the app in September. I contacted AES and they told wait till new update comes in then updated again in December but still same. Email them again no response, email to Fujitsu general and support desk but no response either. Not happy and really annoying. Contacted one of their manager but nothing happened after few weeks now. Going to lodge complain with CGA.

Bought a Fujitsu heat pump less than a year ago and during recent summer months put it on cool mode then the inside unit started dripping with water.I phoned the company that I bought it from and they said it sounded like the coil had moisture on it hence the dripping.Had a further look and found that there were a number of electrical wires near where the water had accumulated so I contacted Fujitsu head office NZ.This is their response:Thanks for your email. Water/condensation can form on the coil of heat pumps when running in cooling mode

Very unprofessional. Arrived 3 hours late from the appointment time, and when the so called 'service technician' finally arrived, spend only a few minutes and it seems he doesn't know what to do. Does not have the proper diagnostic equipment, just did an ocular view of the unit. Spend more minutes answering phone calls than working. He should at least service the unit first before making a diagnostic test of the unit. Paid labour plus travel even though problem wasn't fix. What a riff off, will never buy Fujitsu again.
