We looked for the cheapest ski hire places in Queenstown and there were four businesses that were cheaper than the rest. Snowrental was tied as #1 as the cheapest / best value.It’s also located 150 metres or so from the Queenstown main ski bus pick up and drop off point so that we didn’t have to walk far to return our gear.They even stayed open late by half an hour so that we could return our gear after our ski bus got caught in traffic – much appreciated!The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.Overall organising our gear hire from these guys was really easy. We’re glad we chose them. Highly recommended!

Thank-you Stefan and the team for your fantastic service, I will definitely come straight to you next time I need to rent skis in Queenstown. It was really busy during the school holidays and the staff kept on smiling and were very apologetic about the wait. I thought the hire rates were very competitive and the discounts for booking ahead made them even more affordable. I chose a sport ski package and was thrilled to be given new skis which made my time on the mountain that much more enjoyable : )

Booked online and got a great price. Seemed to be the best price we could find, especially once we got the online discount. We're only beginners so only needed the budget equipment. Hired skis/boots/poles as well as a variety of clothes/helmets/goggles etc. Dealt with Brodie (I think that was his name) in the shop who fitted us with our equipment, and was there in the morning when we picked it up. Very friendly service, quick and easy. Good location just across from the bus to coronet peak so don't need to carry your stuff too far! Would reccomend!

Excellent service from the team at snow rental, Amanda was exceptionally patient and knowledgeable getting me fitted out for my boots & board and Josh provided a great check out experience. Friendly, personable and efficient. The gear is good quality and well maintained. If you need snow gear in Queenstown these are the guys to go with!

These guys are absolute legends. We booked all our rentals for 3 adults and 3 kids for our ski holiday in August and they were so easy to deal with.Despite being understaffed, they were so incredibly patient with our children, and were so lovely when my 11 year old wanted swap his skis for a snowboard on the last day.I absolutley receommend this business, we'll be back!

Very average service. Staff could not have been less interested and equipment is average at best. We went to browns straight after this to buy gloves and we wish we had just gone there. *this is not a paid promotion of browns!

Booked online 5 days equipment for two people, the prices were competitive and the reviews looked great. The pick up and fitting process were quick and professional, the staff was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. My partner got injured on the first day snowboarding so we had to rearrange our holiday accordingly. The Snow Rental team was amazing at finding a way to support myself and my partner after the injury. Special thanks to Amanda and the guys for their outstanding customer service and kindness. We will definitely use Snow Rental again and highly recommend their services.
