Washington Way Skate Park

Great skate park for all levels of scooting or skate boarding. A McDonald's is just down the road and a Burger King nearby. Train tracks run next to the skate park but are closed off with a high fence. Some trees around but not a heap of shade for someone to sit in. Amazing bowl and decent half pipe set up. Bathrooms are on site and lights are situated around the skate park. Great place for a skate or scoot and always buzzing with life!

It's a great facility for wheel sports, however I believe the council could focus a bit more on encouraging users to keep the place tidy.I also noticed that some of the users 'hide' their rubbish in the bushes and gardens, making it more difficult to keep it clean.The gardens could also do with some TLC

Excellent, design and layout is very enjoyable. The big kids are cool and help the little ones out..Great place to get the desire to skate

Could use better lighting for those who like a night time jam. Great place for laughing at people falling off scooters though

Was great my daughter had an awesome timeThe skaters that were there were very respectful gave her plenty of room as she is clearly very new at it but they were patient and let her go wherever and allowed her to have enough room that she didnt feel scared of being banged intoOnly thing that needed some improvement is there needs to be a few more rubbish bins around the park one with a recycling bin would be great and there is a rail that has been cut off that needs repairing and someone could get seriously hurt on it as it has very sharp edges the rail is still there just needs to be welded back onDefinitely recommend even for young new skaters :-)

Great skate park and really like the supportive people that go there. My kids got some great advice and everyone was really respectful.Could use more bins, definitely .

Best park I've ever been too needs more rubbish bins tho also I recently dropped into the biggest ramp

What a great skatepark ! Huge deep bowls for the awesome skaters or scooter riders and smaller ramps and pyramids for the less able. Awesome !

None users of the skatepark need to park somewhere else, had to park at macdonalds otherwise good park, good for all skill levels.
