I went to Coromandel town over Christmas 2023 and stumbled upon Julie's little jewellery shop. I couldn't leave without a silver pair of conch shell earrings. Unique, modern, and well made, I love wearing them! So beautiful and lots of intricate holes in the shells design which is really eye catching. These earrings are a piece of art and showcase Julie's attention to detail and her great craft.

Julie has the most amazing array of stunning quality Jewellery. I was on Holiday in Coromandel and just had to call in. I purchased a couple of Stirling Silver Rings and a Pendant, and am so happy with them. Julie knew what would suit me. A delightful lady. Cannot recommend her highly enough for her guidance.

The serendipity of a lost moonstone earring brought me to Julie’s studio. We arrived in Coromandel for one evening, her studio caught my eye yet was closed and would not reopen before our early AM departure the next day. I was disappointed but figured there would be plenty of other opportunities to explore local artists during our vacation. More than 30 minutes into our journey from Coromandel, I realized one of my favorite moonstone earrings was not dangling from my ear so back we went ISO of it (Luckily recovered unscathed in the stones of the driveway). The brakes on our campervan were hot so we decided to take a break and explore her studio which opened in the meantime. We easily spent an hour with Julie who patiently and kindly showed us piece after piece of her artistry. It is rare for me to fall in love with so many pieces under one roof and by ONE DESIGNER. With so many fabulous choices, we decided to spread the love and gift our beloved family with her beautiful creations for Christmas. Oh, and the compliments I have received from the sterling/labradorite ring (she just finished this and I call it the RING of MAGIC) to the sterling/amethyst ring and silver Tui earrings... A highlight of our visit was discovering Julie, her beautiful designs and family. How fortunate for Coromandel and New Zealand to have such a treasure—Julie is an amazing artist, jeweler, kind soul and her studio is filled with magic. Go find yours!My only regret is she is not in my backyard (Sonoma, CA). Julie, wishing you continued success and all things good and hope our paths cross again (said with tears of thanks and joy).

I have just received my beautiful birthday gift - a stunning pair of Julie's Fantail Feather Piwakawaka long earrings. These caught my eye on Julie's website, and I decided to be brave, as I usually only wear smaller earrings. I couldn't be happier with these - they are long and sleek and they look so lovely on.I also didn't have long to wait for my birthday present - they arrived within a few days of purchase. From their crafting, to their presentation and careful wrapping for sending, I can see much care and attention has gone into these beautiful handmade earrings. The hardest part of owning these earrings will be keeping my 16 year old daughter from borrowing them too often, as I saw her eyes light up too when I showed them to her.
