This local place has a pool table, some food and some good drinks. I did get the Blue Cod and some Speights Old Dark. Then ended up eating a desert called the Glenorchy Mess. I have to give you guys 5 stars because this place is an institution. Also you alway do good things!

Chicken wings were the dryest I’ve ever had. I ordered a meal with prawn and they substituted the prawn without informing me. Everything was bland. Service was slow. French fries had less color than my welsh wife.

Only there for a quick drink, but definitely somewhere I would like to visit again. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with great decor.

The pub is attached to Glenorchy Hotel. The place was recommended by a local resident.Great staff and food. We went there for a celebration dinner (to celebrate our successful completion of the 2D1N Routeburn walk) Portion was big and tasted good. We enjoyed the very relaxing atmosphere. An ideal place for group gathering.

craft beer was smooth, light and refreshing! felt that the coffee could be better though. seafood in the seafood basket was also very fresh but i feel that they could do away with less fries and more seafood for the price :)

Food and drinks was good. We had the BBQ ribs rack and green lip mussels. Definitely recommended

Really nice food for the family. Not too salty soup. Quick. Good portions. Gourmand pub style. Kids options include salad and chips. Mid priced about 20 mains, kids for 13. Beautiful mountain views though there are cafes closer to lake. Outside seating and inside has big TV's for watching the game.

We parked up our campervan for 2 nights. Recieved a very warm welcome , good range of beers at the bar. Enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant.
