What a treasure to find this authentic Irish Bar, I could have been in the Emerald Isle! My arrival was greeted by musicians jamming Irish tunes to help the Guinness go down. Although compact. The pub is packed with interesting artifacts, photos and paintings. The staff were pleasant and most accommodating. A must do visit if you are in Christchurch!

Have been many times and it is my favourite bar now. The staff are great, the live music smashes it out every time. Such a great atmosphere.Have spent many hours in Irish bars but this is tops. A must visit if you haven’t been.

Such a vibe, staff were super friendly and engaging even though they were being slammed post rugby game. A real mix bag of characters patronising but all having a great time.Live music really gave it a welcoming feel.

Wondered around central Christchurch on a Thursday evening, we were intrigued by the Irish music being played loudly out of Paddy McNaughton's. Entering these premises, you might think you were in Ireland itself. It was so busy, hot and loud. Management and Bar staff were so enthusiastic and accommodating. We opted for pints of Two Harps Lager on tap. We also had Chips and gravy and Irish Stew with sour bread. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

What a great little pub.. first time visiting and was impressed (apart from only stocking Irish whiskey) sounds like things are about to get a whole lot better for this pub, with a big expansion coming up.

Great ambiance, awesome live music, and the best Guiness in town. The stew is also good, tastes humble as homemade, only wish it was priced just as humble and homemade.
