Jess is absolutely lovely, I’ve had many piercings done and this was by way the best experience I’ve ever had. She is super knowledgeable, takes into account your anatomy and really talks you through all the risks and aftercare of the piercing. I will definitely be back for all my future piercings. (I had a second navel piercing done and a jenstrum piercing)

She's done almost every single one of my piercings and they've all turned out so beautiful and she has a wide range of gorgeous jewelry options.She has never failed to make me feel very comfortable, and she talks you through every step of the piercing, so there are no surprises.I highly recommend going to Metal Magic Piercings and seeing Jess for any and all of your piercing needs. Prior to Jess opening Metal Magic Piercings, I had the absolute pleasure of working alongside her at The Tattooed Heart. Over that 4 year period I have been so incredibly impressed at Jess’s knowledge, her ethics, and her passion for what she does. Whether it be a first ear piercing with a ‘basic’ piece of titanium jewellery or upgrading existing piercings to some fancier gold pieces, you can rest assured you are in the best of hands - Jess has the care and safety of her clients as her primary focus.I have also been a client of Jess’s, having had several ear piercings, nostril piercings and jewellery curations from her. Jess has an amazing bedside manner. She is informative without being overwhelming, professional without being sterile, and always ensures you are involved with the process of your service, from selecting jewellery to marking out placement to talking you through the piercing itself.While I will forever be salty that I’m not still working alongside Jess, I cannot and in all honesty will not recommend any other piercer in Auckland. Please do yourself a favour and book in to see Jess for any of your piercing or jewellery needs. She’s well worth it.

I had my lip piercings done by Jess! She took extra care and time to bring my ideas to life, walked me through each step of the process and made sure I was comfortable. Jess goes above and beyond to create a safe space for clients and professional piercings. I would strongly encourage anyone who wants a piercing to go to her, whether it be for your first piercing or one of many!

Jess is so amazing. She is extremely ethical and talks you through every stage of the process, with your consent and comfort at the centre of her practice.. She has great aesthetic sense and really helps making jewellery decisions, not to mention she stocks an incredible and high quality range. She is also amazing with kids and so we took our son to Jess especially for his very first ear piercing knowing she would make it a really positive start to his body modification journey.

Jess did my lobe piercings.I was nervous as these were my first ever piercings and I wasn't 100% sure I'd like the look. She suggested I start small and work up to my eventual goal piercing. That way if I changed my mind, I could remove the piercings and heal up.Jess pierces with a needle rather than a piercing gun. Throughout the entire process she kept herself, the piercing site, and her equipment scrupulously hygienic.Thanks to Jess's professional approach and easy-going manner, the whole process was a breeze, just about painless, and frankly, quite a lot of fun! I loved the look and came back in a few months to get my piercings enlarged.Now I can't imagine myself without my piercings.Even though I don't live in Auckland anymore, there will be a day sometime soon where I will do the long drive up or fly there just to get more piercings with Jess. I won't consider using anybody else.

Jess is the best! I’ve been going to Jess for years now (she was at the Tattooed Heart before opening her own place) and she is the only person I would trust to do my piercings now. She’s so knowledgeable and patient and her aftercare is great too. Definitely recommend!

Jess was absolutely beyond incredible! I had searched around before hand for reviews about people that are super specific and Jess fit the bill. I was explained every single detail about what was happening, Jess checked in with me about the sizing, placement, and explained why she was making those decisions in relation to my body anatomy. I learnt so much and my nerves melted away, I absolutely LOVE my piercings and I couldn’t recommend her enough!! Her studio was super quaint and tidy, and my friends were able to come and have a comfy space to wait for me while I got it done. So stoked! Couldn’t recommend enough, especially if you’re a perfectionist and need a little more specificity like me.
