I called into Canrecruit on 26/01/2023 to see the possible job opportunities that they had on offer, and to see if they aligned with what work I want to do. I unfortunately dealt with Jamie through this process, and had a chat with him for about 5 to 10 minutes. The next day I replied to his email saying that there was 1 potential job out of the short list he sent me that I could be interested in. His response was nothing short of appalling and extremely unprofessional. And this is less than 24 hours after I met him and heard about Canrecruit for the first time.He went onto say No offence

Ripped me off on money. Had me working in kaikoura paying for housing and giving 7 hours a week. Dont fool for them

Incredible bunch of people who really care about there staff they personally prefer temping and have been with them on and off for the past 9 years and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else

I would rate a zero if I could. Unprofessional. Rip off company. Hard to get a response. Informs you won’t be getting paid on pay day when you were expecting it. Jamie is horrible to deal with and extremely slack at responding.

I do not recommend to cooperate with this company at all. Me and my friends were working for them, they offered us very good working conditions. BUT in the end they were lying us about working hours, about work conditions at all and they took away our holiday pays.So guys please be careful and do not be stupid as we were.
