Zippy Central Bar & Cafe.
Have been warmly welcomed here all week long. The food has been brilliant - the chicken wraps for lunch were delicious, the coffee was delicious and well done.But the staff were phenomenal, warm, engaging and enthusiastic and generously genuine each time I visited. What struck me is that when I ordered my coffee to go, they’d walk around from behind the counter and to me, to hand me my coffee - most cafes just put it on the counter and make you come to them. These guys are always looking at how they can come to you, even though it’s small - it made an impression and I’d definitely recommend them.Thanks for making my trip to Rotorua a pleasant one team.

Had an amazing lunch and would highly recommend Zippy. Love the ambiance and food. Such a great place, fantastic service and local which is such a bonus. Coffee was fabulous and the Mac & Cheese was to die for :).

Zippy Central Bar & Cafe.
Zippy is always my go to place in Rotorua. It has a nice atmosphere, is warm in the winter and the food is good. The coffee has gone down a bit in my last few visits. It used to be great, now it's too bitter, and the presentation is really lacking. However, I dare say most people are used to bad coffee and won't notice.

This place came highly recommended, hence the disappointment was far too greater when it did not deliver.It is hard times for hospitality all over the world and we appreciate that this place was open and semi humming.It felt like they specialised in bagels. Hmmmmm. Doughy bagels, hardly toasted served with store bought chewy salmon, super dry and tiny capers and semi stale onions . Very very average.Store bought deep fried hash browns and maple flavoured syrup on french toast.Where is the chef talent here?Guys, we are sure you can do better than this.Good luck

Thank you for the hot coffee on a cold sunday afternoon while waiting for my connection Bus to Hamilton. Coffee was presented with some m&m's and a marshmallow. By what I could see also was the friendly vibe from cafe staff & customers. Very walm welcome. Thanks guys.

They have a new menu so thought we'd try it.Front staff stuffed up one order so it was sent back. Then my daughter had to wait for the correct meal to arrive.Food was delicious. The children's portion of fish n chips was massive. Worth the money.

Very overpriced and average fare - the $18 pancakes are actually just three pancakes with a small side of yogurt and cheap berry syrup. You'll be better off with McDonalds than here.

Love this place. Its cozy, people are friendly and the food was healthy. Loved how everything was presented including tje little flower in my salad. Great views while you have lunch and amazing menu when you're hungry or just want a light snack on the Opp.
