I do not usually post feedback but I have been very impressed with the service and advice I have received from Alex and his team at Bay Eye Care. Alex Petty is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend Bay Eye care for advice and health eye care.Suzanne

I went to Bay eye care when I had an acute flare up in my eye and Alex was highly knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve been to other places and it does not compare to his service. Definitely recommend.

The most amazing service and experience at bay eye care. I've lived in a blurred bubble of anxiety for a long time now due to not being able to see people very well or drive in the dark well. Alex had treated me so well and has helped change so many aspects of my life. Not only has my anxiety lowered alot but it also helped my confidence within my work and life. Its even helped part of my depression because I get to see this amazing world around me so much better and realise I have alot more to be grateful for. I couldn't thank him enough. I went there this morning for the first time, very professional and helpful, they went out of their way to get me an appointment as I was on a time schedule for an eye test. Really nice people, great service and nice appointment rooms, have re booked for another check up and wouldn't go anywhere else, thank you.

I have recently moved from Christchurch to the Bay of Plenty. I was due for a full eye examination and was referred to Bay Eye Care by a family member.The examination I received from Alex was incredibly thorough and his professionalism was first class. I have, for the first time, been given a full explanation of the various procedures undertaken and received a complete diagnosis of my eye health. I now feel comfortable that in future any deterioration my eyesight will be diagnosed early allowing appropriate correctional procedures to take place promptly.I would have no hesitation in referring friends and colleagues to Bay Eye Care for full diagnosis and specialist contact lens advice.Regards Tak Tothill

Alex has recently treated me for dry eye disease using IPL treatment. I wish I had known about this treatment earlier! After several years of frequently experiencing debilitating dry, burning, smarting eyes, I felt relief from the first of the three sessions, and have continued to do so, that even though I have only just finished the series of three treatments, I am feeling very hopeful of feeling the benefits for a good while. I can now drive the car without worrying about my eyes - freedom -- fantastic! Highly recommend.

Having been here in Tauranga for about a year, I had been struggling to finding an expert in the field when it came to keratoconus. I had been using soft lenses for 4 years and had been spending time testing trial after trial with no luck in finding the right lenses that gave me good comfort as well as vision.Through word of mouth someone recommended Alex at Bay Eye Care and my luck changed he thoroughly examined my eyes and gave me great advice, being an allergy sufferer he recommended scleral hard lenses for my eyes. After around a week to adjust my eyes now have not only got the vision that I was looking for but also the comfort. Alex also helped me treat my allergies by recommending products which have almost rid my eyes of any irritations.I would highly recommended Bay Eye Care to anyone with any problems they are having in solving eye issues including keratoconus, but also those who suffer greatly with allergies that affect the eyes.

I have been wearing glasses for 33 years and contact lenses for 20 years. I have had a number of eye infections and one small corrective surgery procedure to my eye. It's fair to say I have seen a lot of optomitrist. I was so impressed with the care I received by Alex, he is by far the best optomistrist I have seen. You know right away that he know so much about his work and is passionate about what he does. I would recommend Alex to anyone who what's quality care and service.

This is not your usual eye care specialist. Not by a long shot. Alex really knows his stuff and makes the whole process comfortable and pain free. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for real solutions as appose to just glasses. Alex has amazing technology in his practice and there is a solution for all ages.Most of my family uses Bay Eye Care. Can't fault him or his service.
