Absolutely FANTASTIC....I had 3 VHS tapes for years not sure what to do with them, especially with the mold. One of my tapes was over 35 years old but it was cleaned and was converted from VHS to USB perfectly, I'm so over the moon happy. Such an awesome job, and Willem was so wonderful to deal with, contact every step of the way. Thank you so much for making this so simple. I was absolutely delighted with the results of the 8mm conversion. I had anticipated running the footage through editing programmes but was stunned at the colour and clarity. Some of the film reels were almost fifty years old. More importantly, I was able to see a grandfather who died when I was young, and have spread the footage around the family involved, who had last seen the reels on a projector thirty years ago. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I can't thank you enough. For the time you took talking me through everything (and understanding how daunting it is to trust someone with your irreplaceable film) to the fast service and beautiful end result. You digitised my grandparents 1954 wedding video. My Gran was able to see it again. She's since passed on and this leaves us with a beautiful moving picture of the young people they were on a special day. Highly recommend!

Dear potential customers of Photo friend. I recently had two super eight films and a VHS tape converted by covering early skiing at Temple Basin during the 60's and 70's. The Super Eight films were developed by Agfa in Australia and still in their original packets having never been played in NZ. These films were very precious to me as they covered the 50th anniversary celebration of the Christchurch Ski Club at Temple Basin and the opening of the new lodge. Photo friend converted these to digital and took particular care when carrying out this work to ensure a quality production. Headers were incorporated which was a nice additional touch along with their own personalized USB stick posted to me. I have already recommended them to friends of mine for similar work.
