PAK'nSAVE Albany

Update to my previous, very positive review. At the moment it's best to avoid this Paknsave. They are refurbishing. Half of the shelves are empty and for the remainder the staff struggles to restock the shelves. Each week you to go on the search for a product. If you thought it was in one place, no worries, next week it's in a different aisle. Waiting time at the checkout is still even longer than the time you need to fill your shopping cart: 30 minutes appears to be the new standard. It would have been better just to close it, get the refurbishing done and then reopen.I'll wait until they finish refurbishing. Until then I'll do my shopping elsewhere. Frustrating.

Terrible supermarket experience currently. Has been undergoing changes for many, many months. Hard to find things due to constant positional changes. With the changes underway, there seems to be little concern with normal supermarket priorities. Stock outs are very common - always 2-3 things on my list I can't get. Many items with no prices, some of those due to labels saying out of stock (replacing price label) while stock is on the shelf! Fresh produce often of poor quality. Usually limited stocks of herbs, lettuce, etc (so often out of stock or selling sub-standard produce). Been going to the store for 20+ years - a staunch advocate - but have now been driven away, due to the changes taking far too long and in my opinion being poorly handled, with a loss of focus on fundamental retail standards. Here's hoping the store can return to its former glory" as soon as possible"

What is up with your new store layout? Why is the frozen food so close to the start? If you’re doing a big shop everything is already defrosting and then I have to drive home. Your store layout makes no sense!

Worst pak n save ever, price much higher than glenfield, many shelves missing stock, don’t even have a bathroom, staff don’t speak proper English.

I recently visited PAK'nSAVE Albany, and I must say, it's a fantastic supermarket. With its unbeatable prices and convenient location, it's a go-to destination for all your grocery needs. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find everything on your shopping list.

ridiculous system!!!I bought a carton of 250ml long life milk and been told to scan all of them individually!!!Worst experience ever !Photos attached!

Always busy there - Much better parking allocation and underground parking is available - Only qualms I would have is that there is no deli area which is unusual for a supermarket & the blocked off pram/parents parking but overall great supermarket.

It’s an enormous place, very busy. The fruit & veg were top quality & everywhere you went there were very pleasant staff to help when required including in the car park. Good prices, just wish I lived closer! I used click & collect which was easy.
