Over promise under deliver.Was told the pick-up date will be on Wednesday the latest then got delayed until Friday then Saturday.Promised the manager will call me back in five mins - didn’t happen. The car got in to an issue after driving it home on collection day,was told they will call me back on following Monday and nope, never called. The whole process went very very poorly and there was no follow up whatsoever. Probably the worst dealer experience ever.It’s funny that you said I had “cheeky request”.I did not force you to get me a full tank, I was just asking if that was possible. You could have just said no instead of ignoring. I explained to your manager that I was not happy regarding the lack of communication and update, not my “ cheeky “ full tank request. I got frustrated because I could not be able to plan my long weekend trip as I kept getting wrong expectations. It could have been a perfect buy if the communication was better than this.

The car was well presented and very well explained to about all it's functions . Quick and simple way to buy a car. We traded in our vehicle for a hybrid. Mike was great to deal with he guided us thru the whole process.The team at GVI Tauranga made it easy for us to upgrade the console or stereo converted over to english & we added a tow bar while we were at it. Once upgrade was installed one of the young lads showed my wife how to use it & any questions not to hesitate to ask .We have nothing to moan about what so ever.Very happy with the service we received. Meeting the Tauranga GVI team for their knowledge and expertise in Hybrid and Electric Car is phenomenal. It's like we went through a good information session with the experts! Better than Google and compare car-to-car that can be exhausting and over whelming. We got ourselves a neat hybrid for city drive and easy on our pockets. We still do two morning drop offs and two afternoon pickups everyday; with the current road traffic in Tauranga, we did the first month on our E-Note from GVI at only $80 petrol (average of $2.35/litre). This is exactly what Nigel (from GVI) was telling us about! We are very grateful to meet a helpful team that is honest about their cars and helped us to sort the finances too, thanks Nigel and Mikayla! It was a great experience visiting the dealership, looking at the variety of cars and finances advises.

Dropped by GVI Tauranga last weekend and was greeted by one of your staff and was really impressed. Gunjan Bakshi was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, but most importantly was never pushy. We've had our share of aggressive car salesmen so that really stood out to us. Provided us with everything we needed and answered all of our questions, but otherwise gave us some room to look around and we had a pleasant experience.We ended up getting a different car (from family), but will surely check with GVI first next time, and will recommend your business to our friends.
