ワカプティ湖は、クイーンズタウンの象徴となる湖で、この湖畔には、様々な施設やアトラクションが集中している。クィーンズタウンの風景の写真といったら、必ずこの湖が登場せずにはいられない状態だ。冬歯科訪れたことが無いので、他のシーズンは分からないが、湖畔を歩くだけで気持ちい。空気も澄んで、とてもすがすがしく、特に午前中は、最高に気持ちよく感じる。周りには大自然！日本の北海道でも味わえないような感じに襲われる。ワカプティ湖を挟んで見える山々は、リアス式になっていて、湖から突如、山が突き出ているように見える。スキー場も多くあるので、日本のように雪深いようなイメージがあるが、街中は、全く雪が降らない。遠くに見える山を見ればわかるが、半分から上にしか雪が積もっていない。そんな大自然を一望できるのがこのワカプティ湖なので、是非、クイーンズタウンを訪れたら朝夕の散歩で訪れて欲しいと思う。

Quiet and relaxed place. People are walking and playing in the afternoon. You can see the lake beautiful at the sunset.Easy to access trees are changing colors in the autumn.
