Kaituna Cascades - White Water Rafting Rotorua

Great experience, with professional guides who know the river well. When the raft flipped, I knew what to do and stayed calm because of the safety briefing beforehand. Was in Hayley's team.

White water rafting with Kaituna was by far one of my favorite memories traveling in New Zealand - highly highly recommend! The guides are super helpful in briefing you beforehand to ease the nerves. I'm not a huge adrenaline junkie but found this to be right in the sweet spot. Shout out to Elvis for leading us & nailing the waterfall landing!!

Very professional, friendly, safe, exciting, affordable and most of all awesome. Totally recommend to anyone of all ages and abilities as they were incredibly accommodating to everyone. Great value for money, the photos were awesome, facilities great. We are well travelled and have done many adrenaline activities and adventures, I totally rate this up there as one of the best.

Brilliant trip on the Rangitaiki River today. I've been on other rafting trips where you don't really paddle but float down on the raft. Lots of active paddling skills on this trip, in amazing surroundings with a fantastic guide. Thank you

From the US and did this white water rafting in June '23. Let me tell you, escape the heat of the States during summer and come in June to New Zealand (start of their winter, which is mild)!. Weather was great and cool. I was worried it was going to be too cold. Not in the slightest! The gear they fit you with works great. Even if you jump for a swim (well, more like a float).Pete and his team (Ethan and Ollie) we're fantastic hosts. I've never done any white water rafting and these guys are real pros and had me and my wife and teenage daughters feeling like pros in minutes. Pete and crew were skilled and informative and also quick with a joke. You will truly enjoy yourself. My family and I didn't want the day to end. Great views, great fun, a real adventure, not just some ride at a park.Please, please take this tour when you are visiting the Northern Island of New Zealand you will have a blast. I can't wait to come back!

We did the grade-5 trip on Kaituna River. The whole trip was really fun, adventurous, and memorable. Our guide Ben was the best, he is very informative and engaging. Will definitely recommend this activity to our friends and family. Thank you for making our holiday worthwhile.

I had the pleasure of going on a Rangitaiki River Rafting with Pete recently, and I had an absolute blast! Pete was a great guide, and he made sure that everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. He was knowledgeable about the river, and he was able to point out all of the interesting features along the way. He was also very patient with us, even when we were making mistakes. The rafting itself was amazing. The whitewater was challenging, but it was also a lot of fun. We went through some rapids that were definitely heart-pounding, but Pete kept us safe and guided us through them smoothly. We also saw some beautiful scenery along the way, including waterfalls.Overall, I had a wonderful time on Kaituna Cascades Rafting. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and exciting way to experience the whitewater.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and prepared us well for any issues we might encounter on the river. We ended up flipping our boat but we were prepared on how to handle it! Best experience of New Zealand so far ! Highly recommend !!
