Had tarakahi fish and chips pack for family. Wait was extremely long. ordered burger fuel at same time. It took 20 min longer get the fish and chips. Too Much salt added and the fish did not taste great. Restaurant had tables full with old plates which weren't cleared the whole time I waited.

Tasty fush n chips. We didn't have to wait super long for the food to be ready. Food was nicely displayed and came with a wee lemon slice and aioli.Only downsides I could see were the price, it's a bit steep for fish and chips, but not steep considering the location. I'd also like to see the ability to order just a fish, but I couldn't see that on the menu.Would return!

My review is simple - Extremely overpriced at $16 for a very small piece of Snapper that I have ever had and a small serving of Kumara chips for $8. I can get the fish from my local chippy for $7. Very very disappointing. I would never recommend or go back. Further: The response that that is a fair price based on 110g...I still compare it to a fish & chip shop anywhere else does not charge that.

the food was not bad but the service is very important I am hosting very important clients from overseas who we hope for will bring business in Auckland the fish n chips doesn't have chips the reason why I have one star is the squid order it came as a side dish which is supposedly a meal for the client I understand that they charged us less than the meal amount but it wasn't in the menu not coming back the way that the lady in the kitchen even called the client and keep saying we didn't pay much is very unnecessary wish we should've waited for Oceanz to open instead

$16 for a 110g peice of snapper. Even if they're buying pre-filleted snapper at the supermarket for $50/kg (which they're not), they're charging you 3x the price. You're being charged $145/kg for snapper

Chanced on this restaurant while stopping for lunch as well passed through Auckland at the end of a cruise.The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Service courteous and welcoming. It was a rainy day, but the lunch memorable.

I am not sure whether this one is new.I remember the old famous fish and chips located on the end of the street.If you don't eat fish and chips you never feel like you have been to mission bay.Tasty, absolutely tasty!even the fried mussels are fabulous!Love it!
