Staff are SO friendly, helpful and patient. I've been to Specsavers Papanui numerous times now, and they've been wonderful every time. Not to mention the range and price point of frames is very good :)

The staff saw me when I dropped in rather than having an appointment. They saw me straight away and I was treated nicely as I saw the different members of staff for the various different parts of the eye test. They were all professional, friendly and helpful. I had assistance with choosing the style of glasses too, with them providing me with lots of options. Thank you it was a good experience.

Was 8 min late for an appointment due to traffic guy cbf with that and no one there answered the many calls we made to the store to let them know as such wouldn’t do the appointment. Rather frustrating after driving 35 min to get there.

Very professional Optometrist who made you feel very comfortable when carrying out the eye test. Was very informative with the results of the test.The assistant who helped sort out the frames etc was very polite, professional and informative.Well done team.P.S.The only minor negative is the 3 plus weeks wait for the delivery of my new glasses.

I was very impressed by Helena the Optometrists knowledge and thoroughness. After explaining my problems with progressives she came up with some solutions others had not suggested. Then Courtney was SO helpful at picking glasses that looked fantastic but also met Helena's criteria. Thanks so much!

Asked to pay half now half on collection. Was told by the staff member had to pay 100% up front and that was policy. Other family members say they did not have to pay all up front.

Not good enough - ordered two pairs of prescription sunglasses through Specsavers Papanui, to be sent to Nelson for collection. Bizarrely, one pair ended up in Gisborne and needed to be redirected to Nelson. Drove 45 minutes to Nelson to collect my sunglasses to find only one pair was there. After calling Papanui to find a solution all they could say is the glasses are lost and the lab will need to start again. Frustrating, cost me time and money, not really up to standard for a customer service based company.

I was really impressed with my initial appointment and assessments.I was also happy with my follow up appointment.My disappointment is over purchasing 2 pair of glasses (one for work and one for home), yet only given 1 bottle of lens cleaner.
