This restaurant catered for our group of 9 on very short notice and did not disappoint. The food was so tasty and flavoursome. The service was fast and friendly.

We had nasi gurangi and pork belly. It's was good and served pretty quickly . Staff were friendly, and the restaurant looked a bit old.

Pleasant ambience. Nasi Goring made with curry was not up to expectation. Sweet & sour chicken - great chicken but pineapple was “fizzy” & orange sauce pervaded everything with no other colours in the dish.

Chinese this authentic is difficult to find even in Christchurch! Amazing dishes and wonderful service, topped off with a great atmosphere. It has become my “must go to place” now, every-time I visit Hanmer. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The most flavorsome chicken and corn soup I have ever had and the chicken and cashew with combination fried rice was brilliant. No hesitation in recommending this place to dine in or get take away. Price is very good for portion size. Two diners left extremely full. Great staff, fabulous food and warm friendly environment.

Soo good! We've been a few times over the last year we've lived close by and can happily say its consistently tasty, fresh and generously portioned food. The sweet and sour pork is a fave and we've also enjoy the nasi goreng. Finding a place in Hanmer that's consistent is really hard so this place is an absolute reliable gem.
