Personal LoanAwesome service by Suraj Shinde, I applied for a loan online, within one day got a call to confirm my details and what not. Took less than an hour to complete the online process, asked the correct questions, very prompt to reply to emails and calls when I had questions. Definitely great service from ANZ, quicker than finance companies in my experience. Loan went through super fast and no problems at all. Will be back again in the near future.

Sammy helped us with our company's bank account application, she was very kind and down to earth, provided us with professional advice and opened our bank account just in few minutes after we provided all the required docs. Would recommend her to anyone who needs to do business banking.

Bad customwr service. I found a card and wanted to return it to this branch. 38minutes after closing I knock on the door for a good while while waving frantically. The ladie(s) look up give a shrug and turn a cold eye to me. Tried again, same thing. I would just have wanted to pass the found card to personnel working.Okay after hours, I am not their customer but still, would have taken a minute of customer service to return almost card had she faced me and paid the minimum effort while packing away her bags. When I went there, there was a long queue. One staff was sorting the customers asking them their business & moving them in proper queue.One male staff came to me and asked me if this was my 'home branch'. I said no, but this branch is near to my Uni so it's more convenient for me. He told me to go to my home branch as 'they won't be able to access my account at queen st branch'. Why lie? Just because you are busy?

Very very slow. Only 1 teller position open, despite 8 or so desk staff wandering around the office doing other things. Queue was 18 mins today.

ANZ didn't handle my online bank opening too well even though I applied more than month before my arrival to the country, it was a clumsy process with no result, no updates, NOTHING. Luckily, Suraj (and also the sweet female clerk) went beyond, took over the mess that ANZ did and managed to set me up in within minutes allowing me then to apply for my IRD number the same day. I truly appreciate that Suraj found time in his busy schedule and helped me out instead of letting me hopelessly wait for another weeks to get a reply from ANZ online team. You absolutely made made my day man, appreciate you very much.

Hard to make an appointment, and even with appointment, arrive here on time, still they ask you to wait , wait till their lunch break, but then ask me to come back later afternoon. Came back on afternoon, but then waited here for another 1 hour!!! Totally crazy! Don’t understand the appointment, it is no use at all!! Don’t come here! And this bank says Working holiday visa holder can only come to this branch or Sylvia park branch.

The review for ANZ 205 Queen Street Branch is not much high only 2.9, and for me the service from here was enough to be happy.I came for this country with working holiday visa and here I got first my account easily compared with other banks, I am using well this account.Second, I went to register for seding money to overseas since I need to do that in NZ it was clear just in once.

Unfortunately the waiting time are now out of sanity, tested over the past three weeks, 5 times, waiting time in queue is around 30 minutes if no one desist in the queue. Even more, the front people being overwhelmed does not process transactions correctly to try and go faster. Not on them, of course, they're trying their best. Shameful for ANZ that they do not put more people to ease this.
