I had a complete tyre blow-out an hour’s drive from Taupo in the middle of nowhere. Based on the Google Reviews, I called Auto Tow. Julie answered and once we’d figured out where I was, she gave me the price for the tow BUT said I may want to call AA and join from the roadside. I did, and AA covered it. (Yes, the roadside AA Membership costs a lot more than a standard “non-roadside” membership, but thanks to Julie it was still less than HALF the price of the tow, and I now have all of the other benefits of AA Membership.)Stephen showed up exactly at the time that they’d estimated, flat-bedded my car into Taupo and dropped me outside the repair shop.Very happy with their service, and ESPECIALLY with Julie saving me a huge amount of money, and I appreciate the fact that other Google reviews helped me choose which company to call first, so I’m leaving one as well.

He is really great person. He is not only a tow driver he help me find out a good car mechanics in Taupo. I was new in Taupo especially about car mechanics . Some people told they can do it like week. But he said don’t worry I will help you out. He is really great man. Great service man. I don’t know his name. Thanks a lot mate. See you next time. I personally recommend him in Taupo for towing your car.

So grateful for this husband wife team! They got us out of the rain incredibly quickly on a busy day. We called a ton of other companies who were just unwilling to take us. Steve dropped us off with our caravan and then delivered our car to the mechanic. Definitely saved the day!

They are the best!! So helpful and made my bad day a little better with their quick, affordable, and kind service. If you’re in a pinch (which I was) then I’d recommend Auto Tow. I called and they were so nice and flexible to when they could come and tow my car to the mechanic. It was one thing less to worry about with their help. Thank you again!!

Excellent service after a breakdown in Rotorua, Steve was punctual having to come from Taupo. Loaded the car and took us to Turangi late in the evening. Thankyou Steve.

We got a flat tire 60km from Taupo, and our rental didn't have a spare. Steve came out to give us a tow. It was Sunday, so we wouldn't be able to get the car fixed until the next day. We had no idea where to go, so Steve recommended a place and dropped off our car there. Then he gave us (and our luggage) an extra ride to our hotel which was so kind because it had been a very exhausting day, even though I'm sure it had been a long day for him too. I don't honestly know how many options there are for towing in the Taupo area but if you have a choice, you should totally pick Steve
