Propel Cycles | E-Bikes

Justin and David are patient, and knowledgeable. I tried out the two different ebikes I was considering and ended up buying one of them. They have an online appointment system which means they can give you their full attention when you visit, no need to queue up or come back another time. I visited three different bike shops and decided to go with Propel because I thought their approach to customers was the best, really personalised and friendly. I've gotten pretty great after sales service so far which lives up to the positive impression I received in the shop. Justin is really quick with replying to emails! I'm glad I went with them.

With two fantastic Focus E- Bikes from Propel Cycles we (a German couple) cycled for two months through NZ. Justin and David have been extremely helpful and supporting during the whole process - selecting the right bikes, customising the bikes to our wishes, and supporting us via phone or mail when needed.They were a great help for our wonderful NZ-adventure. Picked up my Focus Ja㎡ 6.7 ebike this morning. Justin was so good at listening to what I wanted the bike for, explained that a step-through wouldn’t give me a great ride. Just cause I’m 75 there was no reason I shouldnt have wheels that made the ride enjoyable. I left the shop and 67kms later got home. I didn’t want the experience to end. Thanks Justin glad I followed the recommendations to visit Propel. I wrote this 3 months ago when I bought my bike but didnt seem to send it. Even more thrilled than I was at the start. Forgot 5 Star Rating Propel Cycles are 10 Star! From the first call with David I had a good feeling about him. He explained some options and invited me in to chat about what would work best for me. I then met Justin who was really smiley and helpful. I could tell they really enjoyed what they do and gave me some amazing advice around the bike I bought. I felt really well supported through the no rush buying process and the deal they gave me was very competitive. Thanks so much for the amazing deal and customer service I learnt a lot. I am over the moon with my new Specialized Levo Comp Alloy and I love Propel cycles point of difference with their 2 year Free Labour servicing and Software updates which helps getting a quick turn around and you're more likely to get any concerns looked at before they become issues. I found the experience purchasing a bicycle from Propel to be really enjoyable. Justin and David clearly understood the details of their bikes and spent time trying to understand my preferences and expectations.The purchase itself was celebrated with a couple of gifts, a lot of attention to detail and ensuring I understood how to operate the ebike features.I had some minor issues post purchase, not due to anything Propel had or had not done - just some squeaks, and again the service, communication and support were excellent .Fully recommend these guys and their support.PS Recommend the Focus bikes too

A 5 star allround experience. An owner operated smaller bike shop but it leaves the other franchises out in the cold.A good range of bikes - and I found one that suited me at a right price.All questions answered and other helpful information that I didn't know to ask respectfully shared.Free servicing for 2 years a bonus. And already I have communicated via email with a follow-up question.Justin and David know their stuff. Their customer service and knowledge of all things for bikes is outstanding. Recommended

I'd been looking for a new ebike for ages. A lot of them are pretty ugly (yes that does matter) or fall short on the functional and technical performance aspects. I reckon the range at Propel win easily on both looks and quality, and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.If you're even thinking about getting an electric bike (which you should) then go and see the super knowledgeable and helpful guys at Propel. They certainly went the extra mile to look after me. And they're also fun to hang out with.
