CS Law Levin

I have been dealing with CS Law for the past couple of years trying to resolve a complex legal matter. Our Lawyer has been patient, compassionate and thoughtful. The matter is not yet resolved but I would not hesitate to recommend them - not yet knowing the outcome of legal battle.

You rely on Lawyers for professional legal advice, especially when purchasing or selling a house. So when your Solicitor forgets your settlement date, or forgets to mention information earlier which puts you under unnecessary pressure, you feel rather aggrieved. We eventually got there, but a little common sense and clarity wouldn't go amiss. Definitely ask around for other recommendations before heading here.UPDATE 16/01/18: I had a call from Cullinane Steele today about my review. We had a really positive chat on the phone about the service we received, and they were really open about the concerns we had. They genuinely seemed interested by what we had to say, and were super keen to help put things right. I wanted to acknowledge Cullinane Steele's professionalism for their aftercare service.

Appalling service and incredibly unhelpful, do not use. My family were treated so unbelievably bad by this Firm we would NEVER recommend using them for anything. Travel out of town and find a decent lawyer firm that understands not everything is about how much money they can extract from a client but rather how much service they can provide. Would never use or recommend using this firm. If I could give them a negative 5 I would.

I use CS Law on a regular basis. I have found the staff to be professional and thorough. The advice given is well thought through and accurate. I have no hesitation in recommending CS Law to anyone seeking professional legal advice.

Update: We have discovered a serious problem with the house. When discussing this with the council it was pointed out that it is in the LIM report. I assume this law firm didn't bother to read the LIM report. I regrettably employed this firm to conduct the convincing for my house purchase. This firm is very incompetent and disorganised. They very nearly collapsed the purchase on two occasions. They delayed it by about a week. The most concerning being not informing me to pay the deposit. With back up offers in place this would have most defiantly collapsed the purchase. It was the real estate agent who contacted me regarding this and many other matters. She was also frustrated with having to chase after them. In fact if it wasn't for the dedicated real estate agent and the fact that I was not a first home buyer and knew the process this firm would absolutely have lost me this house. My concern now is the mistakes they may have made that I don't know about yet that might come back on me in the future. Also what are my losses? I know they didn't bother to recalculate the rates and there bad advice and delaying the sale cost me. I implore you to use a different firm.

Used the online chat to request a call back. Never got one. Phoned directly to ask to speak to someone who could help. The receptionist took my details and said she would pass them onto the right person to help me and they would call me back. I never heard from them.

Terrible service. Mark did his best to help but seemed to be held back by certain individuals with an unjustified view of their own self-importance. What should have been a simple mortgage guarantee became an ego battle with legal costs spiraling out of control. The recent lessons of kindness and doing right by your customers seems to have been lost by this law firm. I would never use their services again.

I wasn't going to write a review but I see how they have dealt with previous reviews and want to point out that this is how they conduct all of their business. The first bad reviewer is contacted and talked into changing it. The second doesn't leave a name so the same day someone who is clearly a friend or colleague leaves a context-less good review. And this is how CS Law conducts themselves. I guess I will wait for their call.

This is going to be really impressive when earthquake repairs are complete.
