Springlands Lifestyle Village

I have been working at Springlands Lifestyle Village for 7 years now. The overall attitude of management is to be the very best retirement village for those who live and work here, and they are continually looking for ways to improve the already outstanding service and facility. The manager's door is always open to talk to residents or staff about any issue, and all feedback is listened to and acted upon where applicable.

Springlands is a brilliant place! Very professional and caring of residents. They have a variety of living accommodation options. Building and grounds very well appointed and maintained. Regular communication especially over difficult Covid periods. An easy recommend!

Hi Lola and I have lived at springlands lifestyle village in a villa for three & half years never regret one day ..the people are so friendly as are management and the staff. Would recommend this village to anyone. One thing I will say is come in early in your retirement so you can enjoy everything there is to do. Regards Lola and Wayne Leckie

Lesley & myself have been at SLV for nearly 18 months. We have never had one day where we wished we were elsewhere. The residents are a very happy and social bunch of like minded people, and Management go well above the call of duty. Nothing is a worry to them. Loving it here. Allan

As residents in a Springlands Lifestyle Villa for over 3 yrs we can state that we have been well satisfied with our decision to move here. We enjoy the standard of the unit and facilities, our relationship with staff and other residents, and the opportunity to share in the various sponsored activities. John & Yvonne Best

We have been residents here for just over a year and are extremely happy with all aspects the village has to offer .We find the other residents plus management all very friendly and and helpful.

Residents love living here, with a nicely planned village layout, modern villas, central community rooms, and on site hospital care if needed. The maintenance and grounds staff are helpful and efficient, and the village is beautifully presented. The added convenience of a supermarket, pharnacy, and medical practice within 200m allows residents without cars to maintain their independence. There is a regular programme of activities and outings offered for participation, and I sense a genuine interest in the well-being and satisfaction of residents, from management staff. New residents such as my mother and her neighbour, have been warmly welcomed by all. I think it's been a great move for her.

It has now been a little over 5 years since I moved into Springlands Lifestyle Village and have never once regretted the decision. I was fortunate enough to see my villa built from new and therefore observed at first hand the quality of construction and materials that were used, making it the warm, comfortable unit that it is.The village is quiet, safe and well located on the local bus route with a medical practice and large supermarket next door and the town centre is only a few kms up the road.Well trained staff, including nursing, catering, maintenance, admin right up to management are very caring, helpful and approachable – nothing is too much trouble.The residents are a great group of friendly people and new friendships are quickly forged . The village outings and activities are popular and varied, catering for a wide and diverse range of interests.I would have no hesitation in recommending Springlands Lifestyle Village to any persons considering making the move into a retirement village. Don’t leave it too late!

A lively Retirement Village on the outskirts of the main Blenheim shopping area; with full facilities from spacious two bedroom Units through to Hospital Care With a Supermarket, Pharmacy with Post Shop, Cafe and Sprights Ale House nearby.
