If you love gin or you’re gin-curious, make your way to this gem in Martinborough. 32 gins to try and nearly all from NZ (one from Goa). With an overwhelming number of options, we opted for a flight. You can try 3 gins and compare the flavours neat, with ice and with tonic.Food was beautiful. Curries and pad Thai that looked great and tasted even better. I tried the pad Thai and loved that it was lighter and less greasy than most pad thais.The service was down to earth and jovial, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.Very cool fit out, too. It’s an old renovated villa with chandeliers and curios, but feels welcoming not formal.Highly recommend!

Pip & Jeremy were great hosts !!! Fantastic selection of gin varieties ranging from local to international gins (many of them multi-awards winners) definitely a highlight to our Martinborough experience tour.

I have to say I’m not a fan of gin, but the group was, so we headed to Tōhi. This bar serves the best gin Aotearoa (NZ) has to offer. I had the Martinborough flight which I was pleasantly surprised with. Great service and 30+ gins on offer. They also do a pretty good espresso martini with a gin twist.

My wife and I had a lovely afternoon here. Raining outside, warm staff and warm room inside.We shared a tasting flight each (Dr Beak and the Greytown gins). They were great. And the tasting advice was spot on - highly recommend following it.We didn’t have a meal here.

I’d love to give it a 5 star but service was a bit slow. Partner and I waited for a second round for 20 mins (only one other table) and decided to leave.NZ gin selection was wonderful, definitely coming back

Tohi has a unique blend of a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere combined with excellent gin selection and great Asian street food options. I will definitely be visiting again. Must recommend the Lady Marmalade!

This place is really beautiful and they have a ton of gin options. It's a nice place to stop in the town square for a drink.
