Internet Laundry

Don’t go here. Most of the washing machines were out of service. We used the coin machine and lost $20 — it never gave us coins back. There is no number or contact to call for assistance.

I've never had any problems with the coin operated washing machine or dryer, but the change machine is constantly out of order.

Watch out for the step down into the laundromat!!! Although there are signs outside saying “Internet Laundry”, the yellow sign on the door says “Laundry Service”. When I asked if this was the Internet Laundry, the (south American) girl said, “There is no internet here”. ??? Anyway, the photos match for the place, so maybe it’s trading under s different name? Prices are the same at $6 for a 7kg max wash. Powder is $2 for a packet that will provide 2 washes. Change machine gave me no grief (it takes $10/$20 notes). Washing machines take about 30mins for a large coloured cycle.Didn’t ask about what it costs for a laundry service, but sign says drop off before 3:00pm, and collect at 5:30pm. Delivery also available.

Dropped off our laundry and came back a couple of hours later. Our laundry was completely clean, folded and they even saved my 100 merino wool sweater by not putting it in the dryer. Nice people, good service and a fair price do highly recommended by me.

Don't use the change machine!! Tried to do my laundry here and went in with a $20 note, the change machine promptly sucked it down and gave me nothing in return. No information in the shop enabled me to contact anyone responsible, so I went elsewhere minus $20, very frustrating.

Straightforward and clean do-it-yourself laundry. Large front-loader was $6 and dryer was $2 for 12 minutes (if I remember correctly). Soap available for purchase, change machine and free wifi. Everything one could ask for.

Met the super cranky cleaning lady while I was trying to pop my wash to the dryer. She behaved like I shouldn’t be there while she’s doing her job. Nagged the whole time. If you don’t have a big load to wash, I would recommend you go down to Washatipu laundry, the hostel staff are super nice and helpful.

Had a few issues with some of the machines, after a confusing search for a contact number, I was able to remedy the situation and sort the problem out.If your using this site do not put coins in the change machine. It does not give change for coins.
