The best pizza ever not just in Whangamata but pretty much anywhere. We have tried a few off the menu and they have all been awesome, loaded with toppings and full of flavour! You couldn’t make a pizza this good for the price!!

Not usually one to post bad reviews but that was a new low...I ordered a pizza and 'spicy wings'. The pizza dough was wet on one side of the pizza as if it was frozen and badly defrosted during the cook. The toppings were bland.As for the wings, I'm not sure what they gave me but they were not spicy at all, burnt and oily.I was hungry and tired after a long day at work and I ended up eating a whole packet of Tim Tams as the food from Marjo was inedible. Luckily the Tim Tams were 5/5.

Ordered at 7.15pm for delivery the guy was good on the phone said he would deliver at 8.30 to our motel….. was nearly 10pm when he delivered two fully burnt inedible black things that you couldn’t call pizza and took $43 off my wife knowing full well they were black and burnt !! What W@&$%R we’ll be back for beach hop next year and I’m coming back to get my $43 bucks see you then

My family ordered four margherita pizzas, which are basic pizzas priced at $17NZD. Our opinion may be a bit biased because we are Italian, and we’re here on holiday from further south of the north island.What we really had trouble with was the tomato sauce. In place of the sauce was a layer of cube-diced tomato chunks. I have never EVER seen this. It’s unsettling to bite into the very, very nice cheese and crust to suddenly crunch on solid tomato. It also makes the slices more difficult to eat, as the cheese pulls the tomato off the dough base. Nobody in my family could finish it. I would not recommend this pizza if you’re on holiday and are expecting the standard formula of a cheese pizza, especially if you’re ordering for children.I would also recommend updating the pictures of your menu on Facebook, and the picture of a pesto-less cheese pizza present on your in person menu outside of the store. You are the only open, and dedicated pizza restaurant in town as of present day.
