Clarks beach Holiday Park

Very clean from other holiday parks we have been to. Kids loved the pool (probably needs some love) but either way loved it. We were happy to get a adjoining room which was awesome when wanting to hang out together as a bigger group. BBQ we used was awesome and big so good cooked fast and the area a good set up. Smokers area awesome and enough space for all the smokers in our group. Bit of a walk to the toilets from our room but we get it.No sky was a bummer but hey your not there to watch tv right. TV and games room needs some updating the ping pong table and bats definitely need to be replaced. You have to play pool 2bux a game which we didn’t want to pay but I get it because pool tables are expensive to replace. But maybe you guys could look at changing it making it free but keep the balls and cues with the office and if anyone wants to play you can put it on their room and if any damages or missing things you could charge them(might be better idk)Appreciate the service and facilities and definitely will return on our next family get together.

A few narrow spots for motorhomes around the playground. You can hear the airplanes but at some time you will not notice it anymore. A lot of rules but we’ll maintained. Washrooms are rather military style.

Stayed here with a group. Facilities were good and clean. We arrived a couple of hours before check in and while understood we couldn’t get into our cabin that early, just to go and hang out with our friends who were already there from the night before, we were going to be charged a day fee. Even though we were paying for the night anyway. I thought that was a bit much. So we hung out at the beach and our friends came down to the beach until we were allowed in without paying extra. Our pet friendly cabin was clean and tidy but the bed was very springy and not comfortable at all. My advice would be to look into replacing the bed. Apart from that we had a great time and kids loved the pool. Thank you.Note: Thank you for your reply to my review Clark’s Beach Holiday park. Great stay here. Lovely wee camp site with good facilities. Tent spaces were nice and big, good power and water. swimming pool is excellent, the covering on it makes it useable in the sun and the shade helps in the rain. Only downside for us was that there was a softball tournament going on nearby and 20-30 teens ranging from 13-19 were staying at the site, this made getting a shower or using the toilet in the morning or evening very difficult and just because of the nature of young boys, made it pretty unpleasant to be in the shared facilities with them. Lots of water thrown around in the bathrooms and shouting and banging on the doors. Perhaps we could have been given the heads up that they would be staying at the same time also, or the owners could have enforced stricter rules with them. (Such as, they should always leave at least one toilet/shower/cooker available for other guests, and not dominate all shared facilities...) Overall great campsite, amazing location and clean and tidy facilities (mostly!).

Small campsite but so cosy and well appointed - good kitchen facilities, nice bathrooms and lots of activities for kids (pool and mini golf on site). Very close to a nice beach and boat ramps for boaties.The owners were very accomodating of our large group and helped us out with all our requests. We had a mix of tent sites and cabins and the whole group was very impressed with the campsite and the amenities. Very cost-effective as well. Thanks for having us! We'd love to stay again.

Looking out the window to a mess of a junk pile definitely spoiled the views. Felt like the place was tired and in need of some money being spent on it to spruce it up. On the plus side i liked the beach toys and scooters to be used on loan for the kids.

It was very clean, the shower are amazing,the kitchen was great, good on recycling facilities We stayed over the terrible weather the staff were friendly and helpful, our tent leaked and we had kids they were kind enough to give us a caravan for that night as our friends were ok to stay. Just wanted to stay a big thank you and we will visit again soon.

The owners are very helpful. I would recommend this place for a holiday or a long term stay. Plenty of room for caravans with solid parking sites.

A great park to stay at with easy access to the beach, and plenty of amenities. It's not far from Auckland and is very easy to get to.The campsites are very generously sized, our caravan is larger than the average and we had no trouble parking there.The owners are investing in the park and you can see where progress is being made.Recommended to stay and we will come back.

Very clean spacious campsite. We stayed for one night in a camper van before having to hand it back, it was perfect had all the facilities we needed, we managed to wash and dry out clothes too. (Extra fee) Great hot showers and toilet blocks. A good campsite for kids - swimming pool and playground area. Good access to the beach! Would stay again, thanks!
