This is really one of the best cafe’s around Christchurch that offer a wide selection of food and drink with great value. The food is high quality and always comes out of the kitchen quickly. It has easy access for parking and central to the CBD. A great venue to bring clients and have relaxed meetings. Highly recommended!

I made a booking for 12.30 for 8 people. When we got there there was a Post It note with our booking name on it, and stating for 8 people plus another post it note with another booking name. There was 1 table with four chairs. We then spent the next 7 or 8 minutes moving other tables and chairs to accommodate 8. Not once did a staff member come accross to help or even acknowledge us.I ordered the chicken vietnamese salad. It looked good, and had lots of chicken, but the chicken was very very dry. The salad was meant to have had a dressing but I couldn't taste any. In hindsight I should have gone up to the counter and asked for some to be put on but they were very busy. Disappointing meal and service. The others in my group enjoyed their meals. You have to go to the counter to order and you pay at the same time. (It does say this on their website). We didn't receive any menus, at the table so went to the counter to get some, the lady behind the counter said you've taken too many , put some back. We ended up sharing 1 menu between 2. The menus are just photocopied A4 sheets of paper. Our group received the food at the same time and it didn't take long to come out.

Best place to have a coffee in st Albans. Setting, atmosphere, friendliness of the staff really made this experience good.

I'm a new customer, been a couple of times early in the morning. Staff are sooooo friendly, food is amazing and coffee has been awesome. No nasty bitter burnt carry on. Absolutely recommend.My scone was still hot from the oven this morning!

Pretty disappointed today when ordering an iced latte with oat milk.. $9.20. I know coffee prices are going up but I work in a cafe and know they don’t need to be this steep. I feel like I should have got the rest of the oat milk to take home for that price… won’t be going back.

I live in Wellington, every time I am in Christchurch for work, I come here, this is the best place to get a chicken salad. I leave talking about it for ages! Can’t wait for my next trip.

One of our favourites. Coffee is always good, and service friendly and efficient. The food never disappoints. We love being able to sit outside with the dog. Whenever we need 'time out' from life it's our 'go-to'. It's relaxing and kinda comforting as well

Came to Christchurch this weekend and found this little gem of a cafe! Great coffee and great cabinet food. Stoked with a 6.30am opening on a Saturday morning, perfect for an early bird like me. Go check it out ✔️

Staff standing chatting, no one clearing tables or checking on customers food or asking if customers wanted to order additional drinks or food. My wine glass was badly dishwasher stained and look unappealing. Food was good and portions were good too. Won't go back though as the service was awful.
