Moment Hair Salon

Got the keratin treatment done last Saturday.The hairdresser broke off so much of my hair by aggressively brushing and going over the same strands while blow drying. I was too scared to speak up because he was in charge of my hair but it was the worst salon experience I’ve ever had.The product they used was such an irritant that I was told to close my eyes whilst getting my hair blow dried near the top of my face because it would burn otherwise.I’ve lost all my curls and now my hair is just flat and lifeless. I also have to wash my hair every other day (instead of twice a week) now because it just gets oily so quickly.So overall horrible experience at the salon and I’m gutted with the results.I had to cancel an event I had after my appointment because I was so angry and embarrassed with the way my hair looked, as if I’d doused the top in gel and put the ends through a roll-press machine.I had my other keratin treatments done elsewhere in the past and I was always happy but this time was a disaster.*EDIT*To be perfectly clear, I have absolutely nothing to gain from lying about my experience at Moment, that’s why I actually AM stating correct facts and not making suppositions or coming to groundless conclusions. Unless maybe the owner knows about what I’ve experienced at their salon better than I do? Interesting.I was explained that Keratin treatment will NOT make my hair straight, but tame the frizz, which I was all for since that’s what I was looking for, as I had been every other time I had a keratin treatment done elsewhere.I use an imported sulfate and paraben free, coconut vegetal keratin shampoo.I’m happy to review the CCTV to walk the owner through what was said to me, how their hair stylist aggressively blow dried my hair which caused many to snap broken, and to see for themselves the results of the awful job done.If your response to criticism is to insult and attempt to bully an unhappy costumer, then you have absolutely nothing to do in the service industry.

Great service. I did a keratin treatment and a hair cut. Xi was amazing and did a great job. Worth every penny I spent and will visit again.

I went to cut my hair with so many hair related questions and the dresser was kind enough to respond to them patiently. Very professional and awesome team. I recommend the salon, highly.

Sorry this is a late post but better late than ever right? I had Keratin treatment done here last year December 2022 and absolutely loved the care and service there. My first time in over 10yrs I had visited a salon and used to tie my hair up everyday so was a bit anxious but they made me feel very comfortable. More importantly, I loved the treatment and the way my hair turned out and with no nasty chemical smells during. I wear my hair down everyday now and it's still healthy, more so than before. Am planning another visit soon, highly recommend and price is very reasonable! Thank you!

Had the Keratin Treatment and the service was amazing, very friendly staff, skilled technicians and was quick and easy due to two staff working on my hair at the same time. They also offered me their promotion, was one of the best services I've been to in awhile with a really affordable and great price. Will definitely go there again in the future!!
