There is only one thing to say about this place - the pool! Floating under the stars in the big beautiful heated pool with a beer or two was an awesome experience. One night it was the milky way and millions of stars. There is not really a better way to relax after a great day skying or hiking. There is also an outdoor spa for a more intimate experience. Will definitely go again

This place is heaven. Beautiful suites with everything you need. National Park village is just down the road for bars and eating.Love the ease of checking in, show up, open the door. Easy. The heated pool is absolutely magic, with sweeping views over the tundra. We wasted a few hours away just enjoying the view and sunset, but then the magic of the milky way appeared !! WOW.They now have a kitchen and drying room which is a fantastic edition, not that I ever want to cook when on holiday !!

Absolutely wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The petite suite is immaculately clean, quite and super comfortable. The Hot Pool and Spa pool are perfect for finishing off the day and have expansive views taking in the magnificence of the rural setting. Easy self check in and easy to find with the instructions provided. In a lovely safe and friendly neighborhood. Thank you, I'll be back.

Really enjoyed our stay here. There are only a handful of rooms so you won't have to fight lots of other guests for hot tub space. We enjoyed the perfectly warmed hot tub even as it began to drizzle a little bit. The large pool also appeared to be heated though we didn't go for a swim. The hotel is located behind another separate hostel so is tucked out of the way, but may be hard to spot from the road. It's a staff-less check in, meaning you just park your car in front of the room with your name on it and enter (key is on the bed). As mentioned in another review, the sink is tiny and basically impossible to use for anything other than washing your hands.

Rooms were small, but nicely decorated, clean, tidy. Bubbles and chocolates on arrival is a nice touch. We absolutely loved the pool and spa pool!! While there wasn't a full kitchen available the fridge was great for storing our drinks and snacks and the ready supply of water was useful. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a terrible experience! When I was sleeping the fire alarm was triggered. When the owner came, she yelled at me said I was the one caused it. Yup, yelled, without doing a single thing trying to figure out what happened. I was asleep, and there was absolute no reason the fire alarm should be triggered. When I said it must be faulty, she said “depends on what you have done in that room”. I didn’t even want to argue, cos that will affect others. And there is no point to argue with someone so rube, not worth it. But she deserves a 1 star. This was the worst thing I have ever experienced as a customer. Also, the room has security concerns, it doesn’t have a window, but it uses natural gas for heater directly. And there is no CO2 sensor. I will report it to construction council.I wouldn’t recommend this property for safety and service attitude concerns.

We loved our stay, very Cute, clean and tranquil. So peaceful and relaxing having a spa and heating pool they were definitely the highlights and we definitely made the most of them. Great location, so much to do around here and beautiful scenery. One thing I would suggest would be a microwave because there's no way to cook your own food and we got sick of pricey pub food after the second night (We stayed 3 nights so Maybe too long). I did notice one adult had a child staying with him and I thought it was an adult only place. The noise didn't bother me and they provided ear plugs so I don't know why people have complained, I found people are respectful and quiet. We would definitely come back!!!

Absolutely perfect after a long hard day doing the Tongariro Pass. It is very clean, easy to get into your room even if you arrive late, and the personal touches are great. Wine chillers and a fridge provided! We were lucky enough to have the hot tub and heated pool to ourselves because the other rooms arrived late and left early. I recommend you linger. The hot tub under the stars was magical and healing. The heated pool in the morning was lush, with great views and a very peaceful environment. Highly recommended.

What a great find! This place is isolated enough to give you an amazing, peaceful view from their awesome hot pool (not just lukewarm, perfectly warmed up!) but also being a 5 minute drive from The Station restaurant (which has some great food) and gas stations. It’s also a great place to stay if you’re doing the Tongariro crossing. We had the pool basically to ourselves (just one other guest while we stayed there in March 2018) and enjoyed one of the nicest sunsets we could ask for. The room itself is fine. Don’t expect too much luxury. The only thing that is really bothersome is the incredibly tiny sink. The protruding mirror placed on top of it makes it even harder to use it. But such a small detail in an otherwise great place.
