Ok so these two lovely chaps need a medal or knighthood. If you love photography go and see them. If you love awesome humans go and see them. Basically this place rocks and so helpful. There Merchandise is super cool just like them and they have no issues with any questions you might have. Go in and be splendid.

Such an awesome camera shop. Super kind staff, pretty decent 35mm selection (they have super 8 too!) and I love that when they develop my film they put it on a google drive and note what film was used so I don’t forget :) good quality and timely developing! I’m sure their other products and services are top notch.

I'm very new to film and was recommended splendid photo by a friend who went here religiously for all her film camera/development needs.I can tell you I was not disappointed. They guided me through all their film cameras they had in stock and were upfront and honest about what camera I should start with. Took the time to show me everything I needed to know before I headed out into the world with my new camera.The team at splendid is amazing and patient (like I said very new to film) and are always welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking into going here :)Thank you Splendid Photo staff for being awesome!

Good quality scans of film & centrally located near Cuba street. Took a bit longer than I’m used to to develop, but there’s options for quicker scans at a higher price. A bit pricier than what I’m used to as well.

Awesome little film enthusiasts shop. The people running it are friendly and know what they're talking about. Their prices are reasonable, they've got some flexibility in their services and they take much better care of your film than other labs in Wellington. After having some film scratched at another place, I now only got to Splendid, even though it's a bit more out of the way.I really appreciate that they send your film scans to you over the internet so you can see them as soon as they're done.If you're into film photography, I say Splendid is the only place to shop in Wellington.
