I’ve been going to this sushi shop ever since I was a little girl. I’ve recently come back down to Christchurch and have gone there a few times to get my usual VEGE rice ball, when I ask for it they laugh in my face and start speaking in their language continually laughing about it. I don’t find it funny at all and I’ve had enough! The older lady that works there is extremely rude which is really sad because the food is great but the workers are horrible. Would not recommend Hornby .

I had been overcharged $10 for Sushi making class fee and I only realised that when I back home. It was so ugly and I will never ever go to that St Pierre's Sushi restaurant in Hornby. I strongly recommend people check the receipt after purchase. They are very doggy people!!!

If I could rate 0 stars then I would as this Sushi Bar doesn't deserve any sort of rating it is THAT BAD.I live locally and I have been to this St Pierre's a number of times.Customer Service is very Poor, all the staff look at you blankly as you wait to be served?? The manager (A guy wearing glasses) has also been rude a number of times all because you ask if some Sushi can be made up fresh as they haven't bothered to remake any.They need to sack the manager in my opinion as all the staff look absolutely miserable and noone wants to be there.I have had enough and will go elsewhere from now on. Very very poor. Higher Management need to act fast as you are losing customers rapidly.

Ordered a platter of sushi to pick up half hour later for an event later that day.As I'm on crutches, my husband went in and picked it up. Previous times the sushi are on a plastic tray with a lid. These were squashed into a cardbord box. Later when I took them out of the fridge, the bottom of the box was wet from the sushi, in which I had to re plate them. Another annoying thing is the day before I tried to order online but the site wouldn't let me register.

Cool little shop. The guy who served me was very tall, had a good sense of humor. The rest of the staff were friendly too. Busy bees working away making good quality sushi. I got the teriyaki chicken on rice for an absolute steal. Personally I would prefer a little more salt on the rice but it worked pretty good. Real good experience over all.

Big room for customer , but Carpark is not sufficient , Foods are no special and overall similar to the shops in each malls in christchurch city , only soft drinks provided on shop . No special recommedation . Writer did not stay at this shop longer due to no special food .
