This is the absolute best place to eat when travelling via katakana, I have amazing service every time and they don’t disappoint ever. I tell everyone I know about this takeaways and they have all got the same opinion as me.Best prices, chicken nibbles are amazing & the burgers are cheap and great for money value,Thumbs up all round :)

Love their Chinese deals..although their prices have gone up greatly..which is understandable because of the state of the country!! Their chowmein with the thin noodles and their fried rice is probably my favorite dishes EVER..and I recently had Chinese somewhere else and it was absolutely nothing on New View!! I even have family who come up from Auckland who ALWAYS go to New View to get dinner!! And there's nothing better than having leftovers for breakfast the next morning!!

Food was good but the place is filthy! The fridge by the counter has several inches of grime and dirt on it and everything is a mess. No council certificate displayed anywhere that I could see. I won't be back again ..... no matter how tasty the food is, and no matter how cheap it is, it doesn't compensate for the severe risk to health from the filth. I would highly recommend avoiding this place like the plague.

The food is extremely cheap here but that DOESNT mean basic food quality & hygiene standards can be completely thrown out the window ! I watched him put a full raw chicken into the deep fat fryer with his bare hands, then make a toasted sandwich without washing his hands. He also took a burger from a container sitting ON TOP of the fridge (rather than in the fridge) and it was the lowest grade burger Ive ever seen. Not sure why chose to eat here but it was Good Friday, we were tired and hungry, and so many places were closed. Avoid eating here regardless of price !!

Fast to receive my order, hot, very delicious fried rice. Heard this place chicken wings reviewed was pretty famous around the world, went and tasted it... and. It. Was. AMAZING! My friend is a local there and she always go there when she doesn’t have time to cook herself. She said lots of locals go there to eat. Definitely coming back here again.

By far my favourite chinese takeaways here since moving back up North, awesome place & has some of best food i've tasted since living in Singapore many moons ago & travelling around South East Asia. Love their pork ribs similar to some i've had in Hong Kong & a beautiful tasting wonton soup without noodles with a slight twist, different to other wonton soups i've tried - by far one of the best so far.
