We ate here last Saturday and the meal was amazing. Service great, friendly staff. We said we like spicy and ordered the garlic prawn sizzlers for starters which had just the right amount of spice added and dipped in the sauce they were heavenly! We then had mixed chicken and lamb souvlakis, mine in a bowl and my daughter’s wrapped and hand held. Both were so fresh and lovely. Can’t wait to go back again.If you haven’t been please give it a go. It’s a hidden gem! By the way I had already eaten half the prawns before I took this photo!! I couldn’t help myself!

Love Zaafran. Utsab and his team go out of the way to exceed your expectations. So far one of the best Indian and Moroccan cuisine I have eaten in Christchurch. They customized the meals as per our request and turned out to be delicious. Can't wait to visit again soon!Kudos to the team!

Love it here. Best curry in town. Sometimes when we get a spice of mild it is rather like a medium heat and medium is like a hot heat. Not always but happened a few times and our daughter won't eat it as too spicy and hot is too hot for me so means my partner gets 2 dinners.

I am very particular with my spice, and sometimes when I ask for extra hot at other restaurants it’s only beginner level spicy. This place actually made me tear up. Thank you, excellent food and service!

Food was beyond amazing. I ordered the Lamb Shank and loved it so much! The staff was really friendly and the Chef was very sweet to check if we needed something else. The place is very cozy and well-lit; very pleasing to the eyes.

Service was amazing as always, nice smiley faces and really quick service.We dined in and got chicken tikka, some curries and souvlaki. Perfect amount of spice and flavours and really filling food. One of our favourite spots to dine out! Good music playing and a lovely setting, furniture and table ware. We are definitely regulars now.
