Service was excellent and very friendly staff. The food was ok, I had the big breakfast, the eggs weren’t runny (that means a lot when it comes to poached). Definitely need to change the flavours in the black pudding. In saying that, my partner enjoyed his kai, bacon buttie. The mocca was nice, they make good coffee

I was a little disappointed with the eggs Benedict. The original chef did them so well. But still good food and the service staff were excellent.

Today I finally ate here rather than just having coffee. Why did I wait so long? The food was just superb and so were the specialty teas, worth every dollar. Eggs Benedict were the perfect size with a generous serving of the delicious hollandaise sauce and eggs poached just right. The bowl of fries was of very generous size and are 10 levels above your usual takeaway or fastfood fries. They were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with some special seasoning and came with aioli and ketchup.

Great place for lunch! I had the pulled beef cheek with caramelised onion on potato hash and my partner had the brekkie roll - delicious! Coffee was great and my partner raved about the spiced chai. Service was a little slow but they were super busy so can't criticise!

I had about 1.5 hours to burn before hopping onto my Intercity bus. Was lovely to just park up here sit outside, have a nice coffee and a lovely meal. I had something with hashbrows I think. I liked it. Yummy. Nice atmosphere. Happy patrons

Good food and service, but very noisy inside... Hard to converse.Also... There was a major flaw in the design of this complex: for some reason, the information center and a study room (!?!?) get pride of place with the river view and frontage. The cafe is this effectively barred from this frontage and has a car park as frontage instead. There are so few venues in Whanganui with the opportunity to take advantage of proximity to the river and this venue had the opportunity and squandered it.

They really know how to do coffee. The roast is good and the barista work is also high quality. I wish the bakery case was a little stronger in flavour, but the overall vibe of this shop is good. Highly recommend. Also, awesome light fixtures. A great detail that is artfully crafted and catches the eye.

Very busy on a Saturday morning as it is situated at the end of the Saturday market. Staff very pleasant, coffee, especially my soy mocha, very nice. But the extra touch was when our waffle to share arrived, each half on its own plate and beautifully decorated (tasted very nice too).
