I have to rate this company 5 stars. What really impressed me was the commitment to customer service. Due to a small oversight the modification wasn’t exactly what I had asked for. When I raised it with them they were most apologetic, invited me to come back at a time to suit me and provided a courtesy car. This says so much about the company culture. And what’s more the completed modification is even better than I expected. Thankyou. I’d only ever use Aker Bilt again.

Purchased Pro rack roof racks here and got them fitted to the factory mounts on my Hyundai i30. Excellent service and very happy with the roof racks and the smooth streamlined look.

I was one day out of my Christmas Drive from Whangaparaoa to Whanganui when my bars for my roof pod arrived at a different shop on the hibiscus Coast where I live sans installation kit... Which proved to be rare n illusive.... Acker Bilt were literally a last ditch internet search. Ian Crump was determined to help n after much searching found the last kit in NZ....he drove to the airport early in the morning... N got me one. Over n Above to help a random first time caller in a panic. Acker Bilt made my Christmas possible .... I will be forever grateful.

Had tie down points installed on our truck which was done well at a good price. Just a little disappointed that the certification plate wasn't installed when finished. Now wasted half a day driving between VTNZs because the truck failed it's COF
