The wife was gifted an old garden bench seat, the kind with the heavy decorative cast iron ends. I suggested to her that rather that trying to sand them or wire brush them that she get them sand blasted and primed. I figured it would save her a bunch of time and effort (not to mention broken fingernails..!) and then i would be able to just scotch pad and spray paint them for her and job done. I suggested she take them to Metal Immersions to get them blasted. She asked that i call them and get a ball park figure price wise. I rang them in front of her and was told quite bluntly, No
