Our favourite Japanese restaurant in Auckland! The quality and taste is guaranteed. Prime beef is so succulent and the fried rice is full of flavour! The soft shell crab is to die for. Wonderful dining experience every time.

Portions were small, food lacked any flavour you would expect from Japanese food. Very disappointed especially given how pricey it was. Would not recommend nor be returning.

Came here for dinner and was surprised that food is average and above average. Fried rice had plenty of prawns, salmon sashimi was fresh, croquette was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, miso soup was average, prawn tempura was perfect, and the crab salad had slightly too much mayo.Was just a little annoyed they won’t make me a California roll even though they have all the ingredients available there. But otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience.

Nice atmosphere, great staff. We changed an order some minutes after ordering and they were happy to change it for us.Different menu for lunch and dinner(for example katsu curry not available at night) but still plenty of options to choose from.Fast service and good food.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Auckland. Reasonable price and tasty food.While most of the dishes are very delicious, I wouldn’t recommend their karaage fried chicken. It was just not Japanese style at all.

One of the best general japaneee restaurants in Auckland. Very fesh and well prepared sashimi, in fact everything we had was good. Service was excellent, you can see why it's so busy.There are also some tables with an amazing view out over stonefields, so it's worth booking ahead for them.

Consistently small portions. Image in menu showed 8 pieces of tataki and my order arrived with only 6. Fish on top of sushi is very thinly cut. The salmon roll is mostly rice and avocado. The rice on the sushi isn’t even sushi rice. But the prices are premium prices. I will avoid this place in the future.

Our family have been to Hokkaido many times. Their food is always good and the staff are accommodating. Nice views out over Stonefields & good parking right outside.Still going and it's still good!
