If you want to get ripped come here. Worst Mechanic in Wellington. I have brought a voucher for two wofs. The first of was done and seconds one was worst they in voucher we do stuff for free which cost around 1000 dollars but they recover money saying this is not right and that is not wirte. They even broke my front glass viper. They were good before I gave them and now they are saying it was bad timing when we fixed it it was good but now if you have get it fix we need to pay 200 dollars plus GST. I have already paid around 800 dollars for break pad and transmission repair. Please dont get ripped by them.

Got a promotional voucher from these guys and it was awesome! Saved myself over $1,000 in what I would normally pay to get all this work done on my car - plus got some other work done as well. Never been to them before but will be using them as my regular garage from now on.

Pretty disgusting service. One of the guys that works there threatened to come find me and beat me up, really childish behavior. The voucher deal is a complete waste of money. Tried to charge my partner $450 to replace 2x tires - got quoted $200 from Tony's Tire Service. Don't waste your time with Van Beers.

Had a WOF done and some minor repairs. Very helpful owner, who kept us informed and charged a very reasonable rate.

Have had many WOFs here - they are strict but fair and reasonable, and their hourly rate for repairs/work is extremely good.These guys do quality work.

They were very friendly and got my WOF done for free (with a promotional voucher).

Best mechanic in the Hutt - old school knowledge and service. I see a lot of reviews complain about the voucher - it quite clearly says it's for labour only; no one can do free parts and stay in business! Saved me hundreds on getting my car done over a year. You generally need to call them around 4.30pm to see if your car is ready which in my experience it always is.

This workshop and their voucher are a terrible scam, stay away from them. Wouldn’t be surprised if the 5 star reviews are from staff or family. No mention during voucher purchase that and oil and filter change doesn’t include the oil and filter. Treat you like second class citizens and get around to the “paying” customers first. Claimed to have nothing to do with voucher but that’s obviously not true. Keep away, keep your money.
