Such a beautiful place to have a picnic. Great to see families enjoying themselves. Views across the harbour and lots of boats to watch make for a relaxing time.

Such a beautiful spot, and great for the young children. There is a toilet block roughly in the middle which has cold shower to wash off before getting back to the car

Pilot Bay provides a quieter but nevertheless a pleasant bathing area away from the Main Beach with a small sandy beach and good views of cruise ships at Salisbury Wharf and cargo ship going in and out of Tauraga Harbour

Pilot bay is calm flat sea with nice beach and ideal for picnic with kids bbq area and close to warf for some fishing and in summer good place to view cruise ships coming in or going out
