Great teachers, good school. My daughter enjoys going there and has just transitioned from North Canterbury. It's well worth the drive out. The learning, friendships and welcome atmosphere has exceeded our expectations

I was a student here from 2003-2009, and from my time here I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The teachers built good relationships with their students, the music opportunities were plentiful, and there was a vast range of extra curricular activities too.

My children have recently started at Wairakei and I have been continuously impressed by the professional way the staff care for the children. There is a genuine are for the children's emotional well being and each child is catered for rather than the child needing to fit into a box.
