Their sweet cakes are delicious & so moist. Came here for afternoon tea & breakfast. The Salmon eggs Benedict was interested as it came with a fluffy egg omelet instead of the usual poached eggs - was nice though. My partner got the kiwi breakfast & enjoyed the Hashbrowns & nice, big serving of creamy mushrooms - he had asked for poached eggs & expected them to be runny but they were well done but other than that. Great food & friendly service

Had lunch today. Coffees were v good. Steak Pie sandwich and cake great. Service was friendly and quick. Good feel. Be back. Keep up the good work.

Went there 2 days ago for lunch with the family. All food was good, but the slice I brought there I found the same for sale at 4 Square a few hours later. Not only the flavor I got but alot of the other ones. They cut into smaller portions.

Have they changed the barista for the Easter break or something cause I ordered a flat white and got what looks like English breakfast tea (as per pic). Went back to get it redone and it was not much better. Also, the hot chocolate was used to water the grass.

Quirky cafe in the chucked together" style that is not unusual in Waihi. Comfortable seating and plenty of places to sit. The food was good

Walked in and staff ignored us. Ordered 2 lime thickshakes and got 2 lime" milkshakes that tasted like a watery milk. Took them back to re-make and it was thicker but tasted like dirty water

Mince cheese pie been too long in the warmer. Hot chocolate drink was very nice!
