Good store, clean and have all you require. Space is a bit limited and signage for extra parking in basement level could be a but bigger and made more clear. Has good facilities for kids with kids push carts that have tablets in them to keep them entertainment if you wish.

How the did this dump get 4 stars. I had to give one to review.Being ignored, rude customer service staff, waiting for staff to stop fooling around and help.It's the worse supermarket in Christchurch. DO NOT WASTE MONEY OR TIME THERE.

I can purchase food cheaply due to their 'markdowns' and 'odd bunch' fruit & veg. I find differences between stores & as a person trying to manage on NZS I'm very grateful for this store!

After multiple bad experiences here I will not be returning. The staff I have encountered have been rude but last time was just awful. I asked for help to find something and the lady just walked off from me...I thought maybe she was taking me to find the item so I followed. When I asked again she told me not to follow her and to go find someone else...sorry, what?? Such an uncomfortable place to shop. I would give no stars if I could.

It's just a supermarket so it's just a part of life. It's neither great nor bad, it just is. Seems weird to have to remark on a pragmatic place of commerce.

Very bad service by the self checkout operator named Christine I believe. I asked for some assistance as the bar code wouldn’t scan for a product I had and she very rudely told me that there was nothing she could do about it because the barcode was damaged and she couldn’t read it demanded me to get another one off the shelf and when I was a little taken back by her rude response she looked at me like I was stupid and said “does that not make sense?”. Of course it makes sense but I just thought she could have asked a bit nicer and explained the situation better or could have got another staff member to grab one for me. Didn’t appreciate the rude service and rude tone Christine gave me.. staff should be a lot more friendly if something doesn’t scan as it is not the customers fault like she was making out.

Countdown as a big chain supermarket are great wf the organics & more products like wheat,dairy free productsThey have wide isles & it's busy bt not so crowded busy like paknsaveToilets need a good clean though

The cashier is quite rude, who is old and fat and with glasses. I think you should be polite to every people who visit your workplace. For those who want to enjoy shopping, I recommend going to another branch or another mart.

Supermarket is layed out well so not squeezing through aisles like a lot of others. Sadly I have bad luck with supply of items hat I get nearly everytime I come here

Although I only live a short walk away from this supermarket I usually prefer to travel further afield for a better experience. I'm sure there are some great staff here but the general feeling I've noticed is that customers seem to be viewed as nothing more than an inconvenience.The first time I shopped here after moving to the area I was greeted by a woman standing near the entrance who just snapped WE'RE CLOSING SOON!" - it was only around 7pm on a weeknight so I assume they must have had staff shortages that night due to Covid or something. Her "greeting" was a little different to the sort I was used to when walking into Pak'n Save Moorhouse
