Great establishment, very helpful, great store and show room and good work quality.

We used Hays a couple of years ago for a small job at my dad's house... my dad has used them in the past when he had too. We recently needed their assistance again... called them on the 2 June, plumber will get back to me. Rung them on 8 June... same thing. Plumber called on 14 June. The job was theirs to begin with... we were not looking for anyone else. But a bit too late... no communication, even to say they will be in touch. Will not use it again. Plumber who rang... made it out to be his boss's issue... passed the buck?

Absolutely gutted with this plumping service, i thought because they had been around for years they were a good choice and are motueka owned they would want to do a good job.We called on the weekend because our water pump was playing up a guy came round and fixed, the same time the week after it broke again. We tryed to ring hays but they keep hanging up. So we looked elsewhere. A different plumber come round (from nelson) and truned the bits the hays plumper had put on wrong and explained what was happening. We payed $336 for a job that wasn't done right. The other plumper changed us $130 for a weekend call out. I am so disappointed with this plumping service, just trying to support local businesses. Had to get a nelson plumber to fix it.

Fantastic Service called late in the afternoon near to closing time as had no water going at all. Fixed within minutes. Excellent friendly plumber. Thank you team

Hays plumbing had come to our address drained our tank and done work on our water system without our landlords consent. They said that they had our landlords permission to go ahead with the job. They then sent a bill to me and not my landlord. After discussing with them that they did not have our landlords consent and our landlord was not impressed they were kind enough to wipe the bill. But in saying the bill was wiped I have had none stop invoices with the amount not cleared. The invoice also does not even say what the bill was for and what work they had done. Highly recommend to use someone more professional and accurate with their information and data recording.

Hays responded to the urgent plumbing need within 2 hours of me making the call, and had it sorted out quickly with no fuss. Very grateful to them.

Ordered hundreds of dollars of parts that we paid for and did not need and left them here. Fitted the toilet with leaks, the taps are fitted on different angles and it is very obvious, the hot water is connected to the cold on our bathroom tub. Ignored our emails asking for it to be fixed. The shower they installed a few months ago now leaks also. Lack of communication and terrible workmanship. Very disappointed.
