Got my bike serviced there. Great freindly bike mechanic. Job done on time . Bike fully cleaned and gleaming. Set service price paid (good to see on their web site set prices and what will be done for that.) . Helpful advice given by mechanic. Totally recommend this bike workshop.

I went to this shop looking to buy ex-demo skis since it’s the end of the ski season. The guy that helped me said this was absolutely okay and advised that I demo a pair for a day to make sure they’re right for me before I buy them. He told me I’d be able to buy these exact skis the next day for an ex-demo price of $800, as well as getting my $70 returned which I paid to use the skis for the day.I loved these skis and was so excited to buy them, but when I went into the shop the next day, I was told that demo skis were not yet for sale and these ones were definitely not being sold but becoming rental skis for next season.There’s obviously a huge breakdown in communication between staff around procedures for sales and this really needs to be sorted to avoid well-meaning customers feeling like they’ve been deceived.They did give me my money back for the demo skis after much discussion and being told I had my facts wrong.Super disappointed about the way I was treated.

This review has been written by my husband. As an experienced skier; probably the most knowledgeable staff I've ever come across. Super helpful and sound advice on ski selection. I highly recommend demo-ing their skis.

Rating is for snow gears rental. They don’t store half sizes, but will push you to take the wrong size. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME there dealing with the hassle.We rented from 3 diff shops in nz and this was the only shop asking you to pay full amount before making sure they have the right sizes and gears. (They wouldn’t even ask what size you are when they don’t have all sizes.)After paid in full, I asked for boot size 25 and tried it didn’t feel right, asked the girl for help and she said she’s a skier so not sure, said this was the only pair they have and it should be fine, but I could take it back if it doesn’t fit.I took the pair since I have paid and another guy came and said it’s normal feeling but will be fine to be on the snowboard.Next day on the snow, it didn’t feel right at all. Had to rent boots from the ski resort and then realised this shop gave me size 25.5 instead and the label was faded so I couldn’t tell! Horrible.Called them to advise this issue, told we’d get refund for the day. Went to the store in the arvo, a manager looking guy accusing us lying lol and blamed me being a beginner (When I am not) to get the wrong size of shoes…So they don’t store 25, they only do 24.5 or 25.5

Best bike mechanical service found in town. I had some problems with my time trial bike after a long travel on the plane and they were super keen on helping. Attention to every detail, fast service and nice people. Recommended

Just got some new spikes and running shoes in the shop. Really supportive and kind staff members! Unfortunately no availability of my favourite running shoes, but found a good alternative. Thanks heaps!

Put 4 skis in to get service before season start. All went smooth at drop off, but when collecting them, a guy helped me to find all skis and put it in front of the counter to pay. After paying I would like to check on the skis’ condition before I left the shop, so after I checked every ski, I put them aside on the floor(without blocking the walkway) cause I didn’t want to be in the way as well. However they guy talked kind of like you are in the way of our business, do you need a hand to put everything in the car? Even I told him I would like to make sure everything went well before I left, I am sorry some skis was still in front of the counter, he could put it next to me on the floor, he keep saying this is the retail place(and I shouldn’t be blocking those space). I think checking what I paid for before step out of the shop is reasonable, especially it was already 5:30pm and there wasn’t any customer at the workshop place. Felt like he was try to push me out of the shop, an unpleasant experience.

Always buy my Altra tramping and running shoes online from Outside Sports. Really knowledgeable and helpful staff. Large range of styles and sizes in stock so they arrive quickly. And - a small thing - I just received a pair today and found ALL of the packaging except a small amount of sellotape can go in my compost bin. I LOVE that. Thank you!

Phenomenal customer service and excellent pricing. I went in for a ski boot adjustment and their expert team identified and fixed the problem for a reasonable price. The adjustment improved my skiing and drastically improved the comfort of my boot, an all round positive experience.

I went to Wanaka to see Kazu specifically for boot fitting. And he is amazing! He is very patient, and knowledgeable. He spend a long time with me to trying different boots without trying to push for a sale. I feel very comfortable for the whole time.Highly recommended. If you are looking for a boot fitter in the area, he is the best.
