Hidden Treasures! It’s a great hotel with extremely welcoming and friendly staff, me and my family practically felt like it was our own house! The Hotel was built sometime around the 1910s but then burnt down and rebuilt in the 1930s, it has a large amount of priceless antiques such as heaps of paintings that one of the owners mothers made at just the age of 14! The hotel also offers a wide range of food, lounge, bathroom, bar and garden facilities.It’s only a five minute drive into Greymouth and a two minute drive to Rapahoe. It truly is a good old kiwi hotel, Also once again the staff are extremely approachable and caring and great place for kids! Me and my family Thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend staying at the Dunollie Hotel, it was a really great experience I hope we can visit again!

Basic (old school) but adequate accommodation at an excellent price. Friendly service. Dog friendly which is great for rover owners on the move.

Amazingly hospitable, great clean services well maintained, easy check in and out process, your classic kiwi experience that hasn’t changed in 10 years in all the best ways. Brekky there for ya and great pub right next door. Would definitely drive out of my way to stop here. Thanks for a great stay

Excellent two nights basking in the warm hospitality of Lynette and Ross in this hidden gem. Kids loved the free pool, the drinks were well poured and well priced, and the continental breakfast was varied and fresh. Room was clean, toilets and showers were being upgraded at the time of our stay but otherwise 10 out of 10. Will be staying next time for sure.

A true west coast pub, we spent the weekend here, the staff did everything they could to make our stay awesome and the succeeded , the rooms are clean comfortable and quiet, the beds are comfortable, the foods great and the social scene is a lot of fun.It’s off the beaten track and totally worth a couple of nights

This is the second time we have stayed here as part of a south island road trip. Very affordable and excellent service. Staff are friendly and facilities are clean and tidy. Cheap food, friendly locals and great music. Perfect mid-way point to spend a night if you are travelling from Queenstown to Nelson and are going via the West Coast.
