Omarino Estate Weddings and Events

My self and two colleagues delivered a two-day training at Omarino last week to 15 other mental health professionals. From the start of our preparations, Jane was always available to answer questions, make changes to the proceedings, and she found ways to accommodate our particular needs. She had to liaise with ourselves, the manager of the company that hired us, and the caterers. She did this seamlessly, so that it was very easy for us to leave all of the negotiations and arrangements to her. The venue was set up especially for us, and it was immaculately presented. In spite of zero-degree temperatures in Christchurch last week, the venue was always warm and comfortable. Jane was always on hand to ensure that the process went smoothly and to adjust the catering times to meet our variable sessions. There was no noise or distraction at any time and we found this to be a highly professional and competent service. We would certainly recommend Jane and Omarino to anyone else wanting a first-class venue and facilitator for a professional event.

Our wedding was postponed lastyear due to covid. We set our date in 2019 but unfortunately we couldn’t go ahead. Thankfully this year we got to finally get married and what a beautiful venue to hold it. Omarino Estate is so pretty it reminded me of my childhood growing up in the country. Jane and her staff were lovely helped us out where she could. Her communication was always clear and if I was unsure she would always give her insight which was really helpful for me having so many things on at the one time. Thanks for being patient with me during this process Jane. You were awesome to work with and my day was perfect. Thanks for your help. I definitely recommend to all brides wanting a beautiful venue. Location is perfect too.

We can't thank Jane and the team at Omarino Estate enough for hosting our wedding reception and for their incredible hospitality. Jane was very patient, responsive and communicative, making the planning stages a breeze. She also gave us very helpful recommendations that we utilized for everything from the catering to the decorations. The venue itself is beautiful, as well as being not too far from the city centre and well-presented with plenty of parking. Jane was also very open to our layout preferences, and they went above and beyond on the day, making sure the drinks were flowing and everything was running smoothly. Best of all - this was one of the most affordable venues we looked at! We really can't complain at all - we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Omarino Estate to anyone!

We held out wedding ceremony and reception at Omarino.Jane was lovely to work with. She was very thorough and accomodating with us.Many of our guests commented that they didn't know this venue existed and were blown away by the size and beauty of the gardens! Some were even busted having a few plums from the tree!Even though it's close to a couple of main roads and the airport, you don't hear any of that noise when you're outside. The grounds are excellent for photos, the pergola serves as an excellent background for canapé hour (or a back-up ceremony spot in case of rain) and the event hall is suitably arranged so that you can easily put your own touches on and make it unique to your day.The hall comfortably fitted out 104 guests, plus a good sized dance floor. The fact that there is air conditioning was a blessing - even though we didn't get married on the hottest day of the year, once we all got dancing, we were sweltering and had to ask for it to be turned up a few times!All-in-all, we were very happy with how our day came together and would recommend this venue to others who are looking for a single venue to host their ceremony and reception.

My husband and I celebrated our double 80th Birthdays Omarino Estate and we sooo enjoyed the evening. The venue room was gorgeous with fairy lights, table decorations, specially printed personal menus, round tables and white tablecloths and a lovely decorated table for the special birthday cake. We had some family photos taken in the spacious grounds before welcoming 45 guests for a two course dinner and an evening of laughter and enjoyment with our family and friends. It was an awesome finale to an awesome weekend. Thank-you Jane for all the time and extra effort you put in to provide a lasting memory.

Was the perfect wedding venue for us. Beautiful gardens and reception building, organised, and super stress-free. Jane was so nice to work with - highly recommend!!

The gardens are absolutely stunning and very well maintained, and the outdoor pergola was great for after ceremony drinks and mingling. Jane was so helpful during the whole process and made everything run really smoothly, down to even the smallest details.

Me and my family would like to extend a huge thank you to Jane and your family, you all went above and beyond to make sure my mums 85th birthday party was a night to remember, she thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We received so many compliments on how amazing the venue looked. For those looking for a venue for that special event, I highly recommend.

We were accommodated by Omarino for our wedding. The venue was perfect! Jane was so helpful and hands on with all the details. Their grape juice was so good as well! For any big event or conference, I would highly reconmend Omarino Estates!

Great Venue - Jane was just wonderful, so thoughtful, organized and she helped create a wonderful setting for a memorial service for our loved one. She listened to what we envisioned and she delivered. This place is a beautiful venue and I would recommend for any event you are hosting.
