Coast Road Holiday Park
If you have ever wanted to see weka (which looks remarkably like a kiwi) just come up right beside you, this is your place. While during our stay (Jan) At any given moment there were about 3-5 weka just roaming around. So cool. Beautiful camp spot. Clean drinking water, clean toilet and picnic tables for each spot. The forest all around is spectacular.

Coast Road Holiday Park
Lovely spot and hosts. Fall asleep (and wake up) to native bird calls. We used this campsite as a base camp for 2 days of exploring the national park which it is located excellently to do. Attended the glow warm tour for $5 put on near nightly by the host which was also well worth it.Perfect score, would stay again. And to top it all of the sand flies where not too bad.

A lovely little campsite just off the road with 9 spots to park up. $10 per night each. Toilet was really clean and there was drinking water. We also did the glow worm tour with Bruce in the evening and that was amazing! Totally recommend this campsite if you're heading down the coast road.

I loved it! Not that many sandflys which is a bonus, lovely hosts with lots of good advice, clean toilets, wifi, potable water.Great night stay there, not far from the pancake rocks, and for a good price too!I recommand!!

Denise and Bruce are the greatest hosts. Denise brought us flour and baking powder to make pancakes for breakfast. Quiet, clean, beautiful siteGreat location!!!Reason to return to New Zealand

Great place to stay when travelling the coast. We extended our stay an extra night. Lovely owners, reasonable price, wifi and water :) Wekas are funny too!

Fantastic holiday camp. Huge tenting sites. Incredibly clean and organized. The owners are so helpful and knowledgeable.A short 3 km drive north has easy access to the McMillan beach. Don't miss this gem!
