This place is such a joke. They’ve never ever in the last 3 years got an order right. They throw your food unhygienic bags so all your fires are in the bag. The burgers are falling apart in the boxes. I really can’t understand how they can get a very simple order wrong! It’s not rocket science!!!!!

I think I’ve actually found the worst coffee in New Zealand! I don’t know why I keep giving Maccas the benefit of the doubt - I think it was a recent holiday to Dubai, where their McD’s coffee tastes like actual coffee. Instead, here it tastes like burnt licorice water. Just yuck! Not helped by the cold fries and bland burger. I think my relationship with McDonalds might finally be over.

Ordered a double quarter pounder MEAL ONLY. We asked for no pickles in the burger but still had pickles in them anyway. The fries were missing and person we contacted asked us to come to the restaurant to pick up the food that they offered to remake as well as picking up the fries. The reason why we ordered through uber is so that we can rest from driving… such a disappointing experience…

I gave 3 stars because I was in the drive-through, and I'm not always the best company. LolI drive past macdonalds Lower Hutt and hit Petone. Because unlike Lower Hutt, the food at Petone is fresh, hot, and nice. And if there is ever a problem, they rectify it promptly.

Why advertise 24 hours open? in the last month at 5.15am on a week day they have not been open for breakfast. 1st excuse was because of a system update, 2nd time drive through operator advised we are not open. Also your car park is full of rubbish.

No point advertising 24/7 if your just gonna put cones up. Pulled up around 1:40-1:50am and about 8 cars lined up. There were cones that I ignored (my fault) but there was a whole queue! Guy who came out could have delivered his message a little better. Claimed that the cones had been up for an hour which was false considering all the other cars lined up. Bit slack to just send me away tho. I understand he was doing his job but come on. Can’t blame me for assuming the 24/7 fast food place was still doing orders at 1:40 on a Saturday. Staff on drive through appeared to be having a bad day and were short and grumpy the service was less than expected at a McDonald's no eftpos refused to do a split order or even 2 separate orders unless we drove back around and went through the drive through again. Then 15 min wait for food to be served.
