Fantastic experience with this company. Great selection on trademe for good sized off cuts, then went in store to browse and chat to the team. Steve was super helpful; listened to what I wanted, took into consideration my budget and that I have pets and offered options. Also enquired if I also needed the carpet laid.Really friendly and helpful team, with options for every job size, budget and lifestyle. Loved that it is a family business - even the wee dog is involved, made the whole thing easy.Will definitely use again for the rest of the house .many Thanks.

Highly recommend Carpet Kingdom.Arriving at their store in woolston we were greeted by their friendly staff and showen our range of options for what we were after.We booked a measure and quote and then had carpets completed. From start to finish the service was excellent. Great communication.Fast but efficient service. Great job all round.Would use this company again!

Not a recommended company for if you value customer service and quality workmanship. After shopping around for new carpet back in June I settled with Carpet Kingdom not for their customer service but because they had the carpet I wanted at a price I could afford to make sure my young daughter had a warm and dry house coming into winter.Carpet Kingdom organised the installation through their sub-contractor who did such a negligent job. The hallway was laid crooked, edges were cut rough, fraying in places. Many edges were not correctly tucked resulting in the carpet pulling away from the skirting. Carpet Kingdom were very slow and indirect with their follow up to correct the issues with the installation. Over the 5 months I waited for original installation job to be corrected more edges came untucked and frayed. There seems to be little communication between staff as I received emails and calls for the final payment to be made before the job was finished and the subsequent contractor would arrive to correct issues often not aware of the job he was sent to do. It was a huge mistake to use Carpet Kingdom which has caused me undue stress and I'm still left with an overall messy and unsatisfactory job that i now need to live with. With the final communication from Carpet Kingdom being a bill to pay.Response to owners response. Fully acknowledged the carpet as a second when purchasing. This review was about the poor communication and bad job laying the carpet by the contracted carpet layer. The subsequent layer sent by Carpet Kingdom explained to me directly he could no fully rectify all the problems.

Price of carpet was good, however had a few issues with the transition slip being rushed. Was fixed fast enough, then had to call up again due to cutting my foot on the tacs sticking up in door way. When emailed stating what happened, I was told to just hammer them down. A bit let down in that case, with the blunt response.?? A guy was told to come and fix up but by then I was a bit over it. Something that should have been a strait forward job.

Once again I have received fantastic service from the team at Carpet Kingdom.The very helpful and knowledgeable staff talked me through the many options and made sure I left the store totally satisfied with my purchases.

I'd highly recommend them as a Community focused company. Our school was thrilled to have the support of Carpet kingdom with some product for our Lion King production props. Thank you so much!

It was so lovely to meet the team when I came in to collect my roll of carpet and underlay. The staff are super friendly and so helpful. It was amazing to see the great selection of good quality carpet and at very affordable prices. Will be in again so I can finish carpeting my mums home. Thanks team
